Question to anyone in Melbourne Australia

Post by Tracyk »

Hi everyone,

I am rejoining this site after a 3mth break. I have a blood test on Wednesday (FET 1st attempt).

I would like to get some advice off you guys of where the recommended clinics are in Melbourne. I am moving there on the 1st of January from Newcastle to the Newport Williamstown area and would like to know where the best clinics are located? Hoepefully this one will be positive so I have some time available but if it is negative I want to do another cycle in January and therefore will not have much time.

Thanks Heaps!!!

Hey Tracey,
I'm from Brissy, so can't help with local Melbourne info. I know that MissMolly and Tiger are from Melbourne, and possibly a few others that I'm not sure about (Josiemack maybe?) If you don't get a response to this thread, try posting on the aussie-kiwi thread.
All the best
Belinda :D

Hi Tracey,

I live in Melbourne & go through Monash IVF in Richmond (very centrally located). My consultant is Bruce Downing - he is really nice & quite funny. My nurse Leonie is great & the clinic is really well run. I hope this helps.

Take care

Hi Tracey,

sorry I missed your post before. I am with Melbourne IVF in East Melbourne, my doctor is Jim Tsaltas who is also an Endo specialist. I have my fingers crossed for your current IVF so hopefully all you have to do is look for good baby doc instead of IVF clinic when you come to Melbourne next year :), good luck.

All the best, Tiger
