Just Me....

Post by heather »

Hiya All,

Well, i thought it was time i got back in the saddle, so to speak, and start showing my face around here again!!!
So many newbies!!! Makes me feel ancient ;0)
Treatment wise, we are on hold for a little while, as we are waiting for an appointment with the miscarraige clinic at our local hospital, which we have an appointment for in early June, and depending on what they say, depends on what we do next. When we had our second miscarraige, i was 7weeks 4 days, and our 1st, i was just 4weeks 1 day. I'm a little worried as my sister has a history of miscarraige, she had atleast 7, maybe more, and the staff at the EPU, who were fantastic, said they think it could well be hereditry. But on a positive note, my sister does have 3 healthy children, so there is hope!!!!
Pat, my DH and i have finally started talking about what we want, and we both want to start again with treatment as soon as we can. I guess i'm scared though, i'm terrified of having another miscarraige..i don't think i could take all that hurt again, but i'm also terrified or never having another go..just in case...does that make any sense???
Anyways, hope all is well with everybody, hope all the girls having treatment are ok. It's good to be back!!!!

Heather
xxx
Got pregnant with IUI triplets in March 04. One triplet stopped growing at 9 weeks. Gave birth to twin boys in Sep 04, Ciaran sadly lost his fight. Brennan's thriving.Looking to give Brennan a sibling soon.

Hi Heather,

Don't think I've written to you before but just wanted to say hello. This site really is fantastic.

So sorry to hear about your miscarriages, it's hard enough to go through all this without that on top but I think you and dh are making the right choice to proceed with treatment again.

My sister has had 2 miscarriages but is currently on a course of aspirin to thin out the blood and a high dosage of folic acid, I don't know if this information helps but maybe, if you're not already on it, it's worth mentioning to your doctor.

Well, I'm currently waiting for e/c, it was due on Tuesday 6th but they have postponed it until Thursday, they said that the eggs arn't big enough, so only two more days to wait.

Anyway, good luck with everything and welcome onboard again.

Lots of love

Heather b.
