what are the Overstimulation Symptoms please?

Hello Girls I was wondering if anyone could help on a not so nice topic of overstimulation I had an ectopic 6 years ago and if only I had listend to my body more carfully and maybe checked on the symptoms that i was getting at the time I would'nt have gone up to nearly 3 months pregnant ectopic and maybe if I had relised sooner the docs could have saved the only fallopion tube I had well I dont want to make the same mistake twice. I am on really high doses of meds for my IVF treatment I sniff Buserelin 4 times a day every 4 hours and injecting 6 ampules of Menopur a day too which I hear is alot well nurses say it's the highest dose and I am worried about overstimulation so I thought if any of you ladies have had overstimulated overies in treatment if you could tell us your symptoms then hopefully we could pick up on the signs quickly to try to avoid it or get our selves seen to quickly I hear it can also be fatal if not treated so if anyone could help it would be great Thankyou. Hi Debs Sorry to hear about your past experience's it must have been a really difficult time for you. Are you talking about the OHSS, ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome, because this is something you wont realise happens until after E/c and or E/t. If it is then let me know as I am suffering from it now, even though its going down . Love Emma

Hi Deb, The first ivf treatment I had, i had slight ohss and it would have gotten alot worse if they'd gone ahead with ET. You do feel very bloated and uncomfortable, maybe a bit breathless the docs will be keeping an eye on your bloods because this tells them alot if you've got the potential to go into ohss. You can still feel bloated though and everything is fine. If your really worried give the hospital a ring and i'm sure they'll see or speak to you for reassurance. I'm so sorry about the ectopic pregnancy that must have been a very difficult time for you. I wish you success with this cucle. Your names sake Deb T xx

Thanks for replying girls i was refering to ohss but didnt know anyhting about so you get it after ec/et ok now i know thankyou just trying to be carfull thankyou again.

Hi Debs I had over stimulated ovaries during my treatment - i had over 40 follies. They abandoned the treatment because of the risk of ohss.
