Post by jay »

hi all

i have yet another question, im nearly 10 weeks pg and recently i have been getting sort of sharp pains in my very lower abdomen, sometimes they feel they are near the ovaries or sometimes more central!! im really worried about this as dont know what it could mean!! the pain seems very low down!

has anyone experienced this?

i hope to hear from someone.....

Hi Jay

I can remember having all sorts of aches and pains early on. I had AF type pains on a daily basis and pains either side which I think were ligaments stretching. I probably would get it checked out though, if it doesnt settle down, gets worse or you get any bleeding. In the meantime, just rest. I found especially what I thought were the ligament pains were worse when I was moving around.
Take care

Hi there

Just wanted to say that I had the same experiences as Kim and my Doctor said they were round ligament pains due to stretching. Try not to worry, but if you are concerned give your GP a call for some reassurance.
