As some of you know, I've finally decided to take the plunge and have my fluid-infested tube removed. I went against both Drs advice and the advice of some of you on the board (thank you Fi - glad to see you back by the way!) and chickened out in January, but going in for the op on Saturday. They can't really tell me what to expect. I may be in and out in the day or may have to stay up to 2 nights, and then have been told I'll need 2-4 weeks off work. I'd been managing quite well not to dwell on it - too busy trying to get "ahead" with work and stuff - but its just beginning to sink in that I'm going to be feeling a bit rough for a while.

On the positive side, it does mean I'll have a bit of time to hang around he boards and keep the 2wwers company!

So.... wish me luck!

Alison x
Alison,

Wishing you all the luck in the world. I'm sure everything will turn out fine.

Enjoy the time off work - if you need it.

Bye for now

Heather b.

Alison,

Good luck with your op. I'm sure everything will be fine and you'll be back on your feet in no time. As Heather said, enjoy the time off work as before you know it you'll be wizzing around again.

Helen
