Miscarriage signs?

Post by Annie »

Hello everyone,
I was hoping to get some advice. We just had a positive result on tuesday but this pm I started with a v small amount of blood ( a trace really ) I have also got a heavy dull ache in my lower abdomen . I know these could well be signs of an early miscarriage but I was hoping (with all my heart) that it could also be something else. I am going mad second guessing every twinge and would greatly appreciate it if anyone who has had a similar experience (good or bad) could drop me a line. This is my third go at ivf and weve never got this far before. Our clinic just told us to come in on monday if the spotting continues or tomorrow am if flow increases
bye annabel

i wish i could help you feel better and tell you not to worry, but you would any way. i bled and had cramping and thought that we had lost our baby. but we are now 17 wks and 3 days pregnant.. try and drink your water and put your feet up..
like i said i had some real bad pains and blood.
hang in there
becky
cleaning out my old desk and found a cd that had a bunch of stuff on it and one of my old names and password was on it and it worked.. hopefuly i can find my first name that i used..

Dear lou and becky
Thanks for your replies it really helps. We re still hoping things are ok ( no increase in pains or spotting ) but this scare has made us realise that we were fooling ourselves when we said we were being cautious after the +ve result when secretly we were getting completely carried away in baby fantasys(seriously back down to earth now). Im am going to try now to do the impossible and to take my mind off it with lots of bad telly and snacks.
love Annie
