My next scan is Sunday. It's soooooooo expensive and they just called me and told me to up my dosage and that I need more medicine and it's costs 2350 and my insurance will reimbursement and I'm like who has that type of money. This whole process is soo stressful. I had more eggs last cycle.

Hey Tonya,
My first stim cycle they needed to double my meds after my first scan didn't show enough reponse (only 4-5 ) and then my follicles responded fairly quick. They even extended the stim cycle so my follicles could grow more. Ended up with around 6. These doctors have all sorts of tricks up there sleeves for better response. One of my friends at work is now 3 mn pregnant after having only 6 follicles. It's all about quality of eggs. Did your doc say what your follicle goal is? I know it's different for different people. Try to send your ovaries good positive thoughts and get some rest during stim time as well as after.

Dizzie - You're hilarious!! If you think no sex is tough during the 2 ww, it can get much tougher when your pregnant!! I'll have to wait at least 3 mon because I'm a "habitual aborter" (lovely term). Something about pregnancy hormones, for me anyway, made my sex drive ridiculous!! Get it in now while you still can...who knows, maybe it helps with blood flow to the ovaries! Hi Guys!

I had my doctor appointment yesterday and they told me my estrogen level should be at 200 and it's only at 59 and that if nothing happens by Tuesday morning which is tomorrow be prepared to cancel my cycle. I just don't understand, I'm praying for a miracle right now. My follicles hasn't grown at all.

Just injected my Pregnyl. Bloody killed. Not as bad as last time though, where the blood was like a waterfall. Thats it. My 24 hour countdown.

Hello everyone,

Tonya, sorry to hear aboutt your estradiol. This can be such a frustrating process. Eggs can be so stubborn. I'm waiting for my first estradiol lab result today. I didn't respond well in my other 2 stim cycles for IUI. So this time I am on literally the max dose. I take Follistim 400 and Repronex 2 vials each day. I had only repronex the other cycles. I really hope you received good news today!

Kagome - Good Luck with your EC!!! Dec 24 is the most wonderful test date.
