Anyway we have an appointment on 13th to discuss our tmt. Any wise ladies give some advise on which questions to ask? We seem to go to these appointments all assertive and positive and come out feeling like we are in a factory line with one size fits all. How can we impress on these professionals that we need more info and more choice?

I was back at work yesterday and flaked out when i got home....missed ya all.
Anna i am coping okay thanks...tears and howling is less so now, but all of a sudden it does come out of nowhere!!!??? it takes time to get it all out of my system, but it will be okay.
Glad you have an appointment soon. I too feel that i am on a one size fits all system too..
You could ask about 1. an ovarian reserve test, 2. cetrotide short cycle and 3. FSH levels before each cycle to get an idea of whet is going on for your eggs... If yoou look back On over 40's thread about end oct , Kat told me about an ovarian reserve test, there is info there i think....If i think of anything else i will let yoou know...take care and good luck Honey

Hi everybody,
The 2 WW will be over tomorrow Dec 8th. I go in for my blood test in the am and hoping to get my results back by early afternoon. I am really nervous. I want to be excited but I am nervous that if I am excited it will not be positive.
Has anyone experienced chills and hot flashes during their IVF 2 ww? I started having them about 5 days ago and it is now keeping me up at night. Not sure what is going on. I am really hoping that it is a sign of pregnancy but again don't want to be disappointed.

Thanks for your message Jen. I had never heard of a ovarian reserve test. I will certainly ask about that.
I think that they will advise me to go for a short cycle.
My FSH levels have always been fine, ranging from 6 to 7 each time. It's very frustrating not knowing why you can't concieve when both me and DH have no obvious signs to the contrary! All bloods and sperm OK!!!
Anyway as you know just waiting for AF now. Good job I am busy at work the days just keep flying by.
Glad that you posted today. It was good to hear from you. I am having a day off work tomorrow to go to a friends wedding, hurray!

I 27 this is the first time taking IVF. And i will had my first Scan on the 15, if very thing ready i will had to go back to hospital on the 17 to EC. Abit scare. from the forum first time will not suscess. Pray hard.
it takes time to get it all out of my system, but it will be okay.
