Lisa it's too early...My clinic says to use an HPT only after 17days have passed since your last hcg...that's on thwe 18th day. Also it takes embies all of the 2nd week of the 2ww to get enough hcg to show in the test...

hope that helps

hi lisamarie
as im the worse for testing tooooo early, i can only say that i too would have done the same thing, but its not long now till the real thing, so hang on in there.... keep talking to those embies
i had a scan today and they told me all is well and so i can start the dreaded suppositories on saturday and stop sniffing,,
the hrt is making me sooo ill, but they say that is just a side effect, i am wearing my arm bands and they seem to be helping a little.
i also spoke to embroligist {spelt wrong} he says he feels that i have a very good chance of getting pregnant with my embies and advises having 3 put back in again if they survive the thaw... so its all going ahead on monday afternoon.
so now that im nearly joining you, you just have to be pregnant to keep me company,
talk soon love jackie xxx

As the others have said, hang in there and remember that you can test too early and get a false negative.

Take care and stay full of PMA

lisa, u naughty girl, you will learn!!!

I tested early it was hell waiting those extra 3-4 days, I know how u feel, but do not cry yet, it's not over til the fat lady sings!!!

PMA, you must be positive as the embies can sence it, and then it'll never work.

So keep the pma up and yoou'll be fine.

Hugs to you my dear, xxx

THANK YOU EVERYONE BUT I AM NOT TOO EXCITED AS I GOT AN EMAIL THIS AM FROM ONE OF THE MEMBERS THAT HAS BEEN HERE A WHILE & EVERYONE TOLD ME TO ASK QUESTIONS TOO. WELL I ASKED HER IF SHE THOUGHT IT WAS STILL POSSIBLE THAT I COULD BE PREGNANT EVEN THOUGH YESTERDAY MORNING'S TEST WAS NEGATIVE. AND SHE SAID THAT WITH A 5 DAY BLASTOCYST TRANSFER I SHOULD HAVE HAD A LINE WHEN I TESTED ON THE 12DPO. SO IT DOSENT LOOK GOOD.I CANT STOP CRYING BUT IF THIS IS GODS WISH THEN THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO...
I WILL WRITE TOMORROW WHEN I GET THE CALL FROM MY CLINIC, BUT NOT HOLDING OUT TOO MUCH HOPE NOW.
I AM GLAD I TESTED AS I WONT BE AS DISAPPOINTED TOMORROW, IF IT SHOWS NEG, AND IF IT IS POSITIVE THEN WHAT A GIFT THAT WILL BE.

Lisa,
Repeating my pm to you in response to yours of yesterday to you to reinforce what i said in it..
I'm honestly sorry and I'm feeling if you got upset about it.. it was meant to give you hope, not dash any hopes you had as its VERY important to think positive right now....
Sorry about the whole mess aain..please dont beat yourself up..

smita

I'm sorry your HPT was not good news honey..
I feel if you had 5 day blasts transferred, there should be some hcg production starting by now, if implantation has occured..
Unfortunately, brown discharge doesnt always mean implantation bleeding.. it could also mean that while they did the transfer, they dislodged some of the old blood already there in your uterus(which is whythey said its normal to have it after the procedure), so you just have to wait for test date.
There have been lots of cases where it takes a while for the embies to latch on and start the hcg production..
I dont know what to say actually- just keep the prayers on and HE knows best what to do cause HE has a plan in mind for you.
The hpt you did today could be a case of testing too early.. just hang in there for another 2 days..
I also feel that bloods are a more accurate measure of pregnancy, so ask your clinic if they will do blood tests , or is it just going to be hpts..
I dont think my post was of any help really, but just want to wish you the very best for the 7th..
Baby dust to you sweetie, keep up the prayers and thinking positive! hugs,

smita

smita you did great.
that was all true and again great advice..

i had a 6 DAY BLASTOCYST TRANSFER and did a hpt and it sad -
and i had been bleeding.
as it turned out i was pregnant with our twins..

so like smita and everyone else says hang in there and wait till your
date to test...

'
test early is very hard on you.
another women from here had gotten a neg and stopped taking her meds and come to find out she was pregnat..

try and relax and hold on..
we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
