What great holidays i'm going to have next year, first to Lola's in London then over to New Jersey. I am such an organiser i will have the Crimbo shopping done by the summer.

Glad you are back but its sounds like you need to go and put your feet up and have a good sleep. Take care of yourself.

Oi Oi Octobers! :D
Glad to see everyone is up up up!
Well, after almost exsanguinating this morning, I'm feeling decidedly chipper. Got a bit scared after loosing 5 litres of lifes red vino (ok, not exactly 5 litres, but almost! I swear!) and grade 9 richter pain this morning. Apparently it was a withdrawl bleed though withdrawl from what (sex? Chocolate? Caffeine?) I have yet to be told. I was told in hosp last week that I would suffer many symptoms as "your body gets used to not being pregnant any more". That particularly cheered me up. Anyhoo, as i sit here in my maternity diapers, eating iron tablets and drinking liquified spinach, I am much reassured  1 down, 4 billion, 999million 999,999 days to go until next cycle
Jemla Jemla better get your santa hood and your passport - am clearing out the spare room! Not long for you now my girl. I know the waiting is SO hard. I know you'll analyze every twinge but they could mean anything! Just believe you are up the duff! :D Hmmm, moving from London, the great debate. So many reasons to go and another load to stay. Don't think dh would ever leave, even though childcare (see? pma) costs a lb of flesh per term and we respire exhaust fumes in place of air.
Stephanie glad you're experiencing the reassuring symptoms of pregnancy :D get some rest - you should borrow the OC off little R and put your feet up.
Camilla - you too. Take it a bit easier and good luck for your scan
Walshy - when is ET??? Please keep me well informed as I hope to doing the FET thing (see above for timescale so no rush eh)
The irrepressable Steph! I am SO going to take up yoga as soon as the red sea abates - it is clearly the drug of choice!!! Sans anal inspiration of course.
Little R - starting from scratch will be ok because you've got us cheering you on!! Woo Hooo!!! When are you thinking of starting again? I may be talking rubbish due to haemorrage low blood pressure but I would start again tomorrow if I could. I think when whats happened sinks in a bit I'll think differently. Think my physical symptoms are distracting me from the emotional ones. So. Long may I bleed dude!!! :D
We've all been through such a lot (alert! alert! Understatement!) and we are all fantastic because we've coped and come out the other side and we're smiling (some of the time anyways :D )
Hoorah for us!!!! We kick ass and Rule!

On that Bon Jovi sort of note, I'm off to watch yet more telly (buffy - series 5, the post Angel (barren) years)

Love like a truck

Hello October Ladies,

Thanks ladies for your wonderful support and feel free to call me either Walshy or Angela.

Lola - Glad your doing OKand seem back to your chipper self. Your post always make me laugh. My DH has banned me from drinking while reading them as i have been known to spray stuff out laughing....I will keep you posted on the FET.

Little R- I hope this new cycle will go quickly for you as youknow what to expect and how it is all done. I say bring on 2006 so we can all be pregnant.

Steph - Congrats on your wedding anniversary did DH take you somewhere nice and romantic? We want details...

Jen - the countdown is on..I think the 2ww is going to drive me insane. The clinic told me after 12 days I can test so my test date will be around the 27th. The clinic will be closed until the 3rd so I will be doing a home pee on a stick test. They said 12 days after the eggs go back in as the eggs are already 2 days old and then it's 14 days after.

Stephanie - Has it sunk in yet that your pregnant? Have you brought anything special for the baby or are you waiting til later?

Camilla - How are you sex dreams going? can I ask is there a reason you are waiting 12 weeks? Does the clinic receommend it?

I am anxiously awaiting Monday to get the little ones put back in. Can't wait bit apprehensive about them going in but everyone says it is just like a pap smear. I am going back to work the next day as the clinic have advised me that it should be ok and that I should resume 'normal' activities asap to keep my mind off it and it is not like they can fall out!!!
Any suggestions on how to survive the 2ww.

Ok ladies unitl next time take care from Angela

Hi girls

So many long messages but can't remember what you all said to respond now! Brain already softening. Am getting really tired, in fact am going for a lie down now. Sorry for not answering to you all but just wanted to check in.

Jen - Please don't worry about any feelings of heaviness/bloatedness. I was aware of something going on too. You're so close now but can you and DH do something tomorrow to take your mind off the last day's wait?

Angela - Yeah, the clinic advised no to sex for the first 12 weeks. I'm sure you're fully prepared for Monday. Will be thinking of you.

Love to you all, sorry not in keeping with your wonderful messages but maybe next time.

    Its all over

AF came at 10pm but then had nothing all night so tried to stay positive but had horrible feeling in my tum. Then today about 9.30 i had another small AF. Hospital said it could be embies embedding further into the uterus or because i have stopped the pessaries.

Anyway i took my test early as i can't stand this worry and its negative. (Sorry girls). Will do another one on Sunday but it won't change now.

I know it's only my first time and i can try again but the worse thing is seeing my DH face. He is so sad and i feel so guilty that i can't give him a baby.

The only good thing to come from this is finding my October Buddies, looks like i will be sticking around for another cycle with all of you. I couldn't think of better people to give me help and support. Thank you.

Jen,

I agree with Smita. It's not over until the blood test, so hang in there. And by no means is anything that happens to any of us our faults. Do not feel guilty at all. Your DH loves you no matter what. And so do we

I know this is all very difficult, hang in there.

Lots of love,

Wow, so much activity here lately. Glad to see everyone is still around. To tell you the truth, I started out posting here and just didn't get into joining any other month's even though my cycle was partly in November also. I say Octobies forever!!!!!!!!!

Steph - Hope you are off with DH have a nice romantic celebration! Do it up right girl.

Camilla - Rest up. All these hormones will make you tired fast. The baby needs you to be rested, so don't fight it.

Angela - I am the same as Camilla, my Dr. said no sex until after the 1st trimester. I thought it was until you could see the heartbeat, but I guess they want to play it safe. Good luck on Monday, I will be thinking of you. For your 2ww, TAKE IT EASY!!!! Do bedrest for at least the 1st 3 days, longer if you can. Let DH pamper you! AND make sure you have lots of movies ready or book to read, it will help to pass the time. Let us know how you are doing with the everything.

Lola - So glad to see you more positive. Wounds take time to heal, physical and emotional, but you will get through this. Can't wait till you cycle again. We will be here to cheer you on.

Little R - You will do fine with your next cycle, so don't worry. At least you know exactly what to expect. That was the worst part for my this 1st cycle, anticipation. Regardless, you will have lots of cheering from us.

I had my 2nd scan this morning and we saw a HEARTBEAT!!!!!! It was so exciting that I started to tear up in the Dr. office. It's such a tiny little thing but Dr. said everything is great. I am so excited. Next scan is Dec 19.

Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend. Take is easy and pamper yourselves, we all deserve it.

Lots of love,
Stephanie

Jen jen jen
It isn't over yet. I now you must feel like it. You could still get a positive - stranger things have happened. I am still parking the JCB at yours.
Please don't blame yourself. When I found out about my ectopic I just kept saying sorry to my dh. Because its happening to our bodies we do take responsibility but its not ours to take. It just made my dh feel sadder that I thought it was my fault.
Just take things a day at a time, or an hour at a time. You think you won't get through this but you really will, just one foot in front of the other is my advice to you.
I truly truly hope that things change by sunday and you get the bfp. If things don't then you are right - you'll be cycling with the octobuddy survivors on the love raft into 2006 and motherdom!!! Our protege Walshy is already leading the way with her frosties!!
take care Jen and let us know how you're doing

Steph

That is fantastic news - I am so happy for you and can relate totally to the emotional moment. I find myself crying at the drop of a hat at the moment, and then telling people it's because I'm so happy   :?

You take care and keep talking to your bundle.

Hi Girls
Sorry i haven't posted all week, bloody plumber came to fix a leak and blow torched through phone line! Fixed now. Just been reading through your posts, everyone seems in good festive spirits, what a positive and ispirational bunch of women you are. :)

Jen - so sorry it looks like a negative but don't give up hope yet, it's not over yet. And even then we're all here to support you whether it's good or bad, I pray that it's good for you.

All fine here, feel sicky constantly but not been sick, all food smells make me feel sick, even bakery at supermarket!! Going Christmas shopping tomorrow with my sister, if you know anything about Meadowhall at Christmas time you will know I am in for a hellish time!

Take care and will try to write individual messages next time.

Dearest Jen....was on my way out and just wanted to check in and add a message to your personal thread..... then I saw your news...

Oh sweetie.... I am sorry that you think you have AF and that the test came out negative....

I agree with Lola completely.... take it one hour at a time....and it's not over until the blood test shows you differently.
My DH kept reminding me that how could I know what my symptoms meant, what the bleeding meant as I had never been pregnant before.
Whatever happens, the most important thing to remember is..... it is not YOUR fault. I know, we all beat ourselves up over it... it's not YOU. You have gone above and beyond what most women would do to have a child.
You have done your very, very best....I know that all of this doesn't make any difference at the moment as your sadness is overwhelming, but you have done yourself and your family proud.

We are here for you....we understand and can relate to your devastation....

From the bottom of my heart, I am wishing that Sunday will be a day full of surprises...I don't wish to give you false hope...but I am wishing for the best for you, dearest Jen!

We are here for you....always...

MUCH love to you and your DH....virtual hugs and heaps of sunshine...

Thinking about you,

Little R

Hey there ...back again to spend quality time with my Octopals

Finally most of the Xmas shopping done and now only need to find a suitcase to fit all the pressies in....argh :x !

Lola - how are you faring my buddy? Sounds like you have been putting up with a lot these days....hope your Mother is still with you, pampering you! You certainly deserve it.
So how's Buffy doing? I never did get to the end of that series.....how does it end? ;-) Hope you are relaxing and taking extra special care of your wonderful self. At least this year will be a very "Merry" Xmas! hic

Camilla - glad you are still stopping by--- sounds like you are pretty exhausted....how are the decorations doing? Enjoy as much rest as you can. Hugs to you! :D

Angela - well... all fingers crossed for your special day.....hope all goes smoothly. Don't worry about the ET...piece of cake compared to what you have already been through  Cherish the moment....your loved ones are coming home
Will be thinking about you on Monday.....we will keep you company for the 2 ww if you keep popping in.

Steph - hey my friend.... what are you up to? how did the party with the little ones go  ? Thinking about you lots and wondering whether you are still on the up-and-up. I feel I am doing much better....maybe because I am ovulating  ??
I'm like clockwork....but unfortunately, no DH to help me out with our special project....so I guess nothing will happen until January. I really loath his job sometimes...it's hard enough as it is trying to conceive.... makes things difficult when DH is never around  !

Leigh - would like a word with your plumber  .... good clip around the ears for taking you away from us. Good luck with the Xmas shopping!

Stephanie - Our lovely one..... GREAT, SUPER, FABULOUS news....I am so envious.... you lucky girl! I hope your day never ends...your elation is contagious! Stick around and share your joy with us!

Love to all of you....especialy you Jen

Must get back to the wrapping business.....

Oi oi ladies, just a quick one. really.
I off to stay with the in laws in the country (mum gone home) for some home cooking, book reading and inappropriate question avoidance
Jemla lovely - how are you?? get in touch if you need us!!!! I am thinking of you my sweet.
Little R - you do seem a lot happier lately :D :D we are all so resilient!! Re: Buffy, well, I do recommend you get the last few series as they are mainly fantastic. Buffy TVS is like pizza and sex - even when its bad its good.
Stephanie - congrats on seeing heartbeat!! So exciting!!! I saw the heartbeat of my little one, all tucked up in my tube. Me and dh have decided that it was just like us, always travelling about, never satisfied with doing what everyone else does and trying to find new places to discover. Hope our next one is less adventurous and happy just to stay at the Uterine Atlantic City and not search out the Hidden Inca City of Fallop  Take care of yourself and even though you now have the visa to cross into Pregnant After Treatment Board, stay in touch my lovely! :D
Steph - where are you then? Still away with with dh? Where did he take you? Give us all the gossip!
To the other buddies hope you're all doing ok esp The Walshy, hope you're dusting down the nick nacks at the hotel Endometrium.

Lots of love
