Help about Gonal -F

Hi Girls I had a blood test today after 4 days of 3amps of Gonal-F and the clinic rang to say to increase it to 4 amps is this fairly normal.I,m just being to worry that things are working properly I,m 39 and this is our 1st ivf .The Consultant also said that he would like to see me on Monday for a scan which will be day 11 I know I am probably worrying too much but any advice would be appreciated Thanks Sue

hello sue, I know its easy for me to say, but try not to worry! Everbody has a different concoction of drugs and youll probably find that everyone has had a tmt that has been altered during their schedule. We all react differently to the drugs, some need more others need less. I had to reduce mine last time, as i was over reacting to them. This time theyve changed my drugs totally and Im on the pill for 28 days instead of sniffing syranel and then Ive got 2 different injections to do. So try not to worry it happens to us all! i had to stop my cycle because of no respones to gonalf iwas doing 2 a day wasted alot of cash tell them you want max i did 7 gonalf plus 1 reponex im only 33 had only 4 good follies out of all that meds thank god had to good embries to transfer find out friday if preg good luck to you
