Hi Justine

Thanks for the reassurance, bleeding is very scary especially if you've already had a miscarriage you automatically think it's happening again. I haven't really noticed anymore blood, just when I go to the tiolet and wipe, there is some brown like discharge there, but its not red.!

Anyway I have brought my scan forward a day, I go tomorrow now, I just need to know everyhing is alright.!

Congratulations on your darling daughter.

Hi Dawn

I really hope we can be pregnant buddies, seen as though we are due same time. I am so pleased everything is alright with the babies.

I haven't noticed anymore red blood, just a bit of brown when I wipe after going to the toilet. I have brought my US forward a day, I am going in tomorrow morning now, I just need to know everything is ok. I'm sure it will be like you say, but I just want to see my darling babies heartbeat.

You get lots of rest like your clinic advices, I haven't done anything today, I have just relaxed, watched a few episodes of Friends (that always cheers me up)

I'll let you know what clinc says tomorrow.

Take Care Hun

Hi everyone

I went for my scan today, everything looked fine, I saw my babies heart beat, it was amazing. I did have 2 small areas of blood, they look like 2 little sacs, the doctor said it was just blood and nothing to worry about, that is probably the blood I am experiencing. This should dissapear, they want to re-scan me again in 2 weeks to see if the blood areas have gone or least got smaller.

They were happy with things today though, the baby was the right size and the heart beat looked strong, although the doctor didn't tell me the bpm.

I am still getting a bit of brownish spotting but putting it down to the blood areas they saw and I am trying to be very positive about it.

Thanks for all your support.

I know that most of the time spotting is quite normal but I believe in getting things checked out as soon as you can and making a nuisance of yourself until you get what you want. I had spotting in an early pregnancy and was told by the doctor and the hospital that it was normal and nothing to worry about so I waited. But in retrospect I WISH I had of been more insistent for an immediate US to the point of being rude. You have come this far - expect nothing but the best care for you and your baby. Who cares if you offend the proffesionals?
IF IN DOUBT - CHECK IT OUT!
