anyone having tmt at manchester fertility services?

Post by donna99 »

hiya guys,

hope you are all doing ok, just thought id ask are any of you guys having tmt at MFS, manchester???

ive been there for 2.5 yrs and are very happy with the service, i know that its been refurbished and have only been to the new place once for a consultation following a -tive result so am interested is the set up the same as the old loveable place? ie, same time opening for bloods, etc?
i think that theatre starts there too in jan?

you can read about me if you wish on the thread on the general forum under new year buddies, ive just posted again on there, think its page 8.

it would be great to hear from anyone!

Hiya Donna,

I've been to the new place at MFS. It's less claustraphobic than the
old one at Russell House. Same nurses, etc. I'm about to embark on my 3rd attempt there in two weeks time. They managed to get me pregnant twice but I keep losing them for unexplained reasons. Hopefully third time lucky. If you are doing it again then I wish you the very best of luck.

hiya lisa,

thanks for your reply & im sorry for your losses, my heart goes out to you.....have you been tested for killer cells in your immune system - maybe is not the answer for you but i believe it is for many recurrant miscarriages, a course of drugs sorts it out, you can get the blood test from your own GP, i think....

i am going to ask for this test if my next FET fails....ive too been on a long journey, 4.5 yrs now with only mild endo, so really its unexplained fertility, ive had one natural conception = miscarriage, 1 cancelled IUI, 2 failed IUIs, 1 cancelled IVF, 2 failed IVFs and 2 failed FETs, im only 30yrs old.... embarking on another FET soon...

what time does everyone get there for bloods in the morning, it is the normal 7.30 opening, but they open a little earlier sometimes? is the new theatre open yet?

good luck with your next tmt i hope youll b 3rd time lucky!
