Hi! I'm not from Singapore but I have a friend who will undergo IVF in Singapore this month.

I had mine done in the Philippines but the embryologists in the clinic in Manila are all from Singapore. She has a 100% fertilization rate.

Dear Jaclyn,

Anyway, keep smiling, keep everything crossed and have a great Christmas,

Hi Jaclyn,

firstly, I'm sorry to hear you are having a bad time on pregnyl.

This is just a guess, and you would be better contacting your doctor, but pregnyl is the brand name for a synthetic version of HCG - the same hormone that the implanted foetus produces to prevent to start of your period, and the same as the hormone tested for in home pregnancy tests.

So my guess is, maybe you are very sensitive to HCG - as this is thought to be responsible for morning sickness in the first trimester.

Hope that helps, but you really should let your doctor know as they may be able to help you,

best wishes,
Caroline
