Hello All,
Myself and my husband have been trying for a baby for the past 2 1/2 years with no success. I have had numerous blood tests that show I don't ovulate every month. I tried the double dosage of clomid for several months and I started to ovulate again - but still nothing happened! I have recently had a laposcopy which showed I had mild endo. (which I believe was caused by the prolonged use of the clomid). I am currently awaiting my appointment at the clinic to find out what the next stage is?? Has anyone been in the same situation, if so, what tends to be the next step and has anyone been successful??
JaneLouise
Hi Jane Louise

If your endo is mild, and if you can reestablish a regular pattern of ovulating, you could still conceive naturally. However, a lot depends on your age and the severity and location of the endo. You may be offered drugs to lessen the endo for a few months and then ttc agaon naturally. Or they may suggest going straight to IVF as you obviously react OK to stims. have you had your day 3 FSH levels checked as this is important in assessing the likelihood of a good reaction to IVF drugs?

Good luck
Helen
