Hi, How is it going?

I just wanted to say good luck with your cycle, I hope everything goes well for you.

I started my first IVF cycle in August, and even though I was a bit allergic to my medication, thankfully the treatment worked, and my partner and I are now pregnant with twins - we were 12 weeks pregnant yesterday. :D :D :D .

I had been undergoing various investigations into my infertility, but I tried to keep positive, and now I feel truly blessed that our prayers have been answered. I have faith that if you try to remain in a positive frame of mind, and as stress free as you can, then you will have the results that you are looking for.

Everyone on this site is so supportive, and if you need to ask any questions, please do so as someone is bound to have an answer for you...

Good Luck and hope you get you're babies soon !

Take care.

Hi Jo,

Great news that you started your cycle. Good luck to you. The process itself is not that bad, it's the anxiety and anticipation that may get to you. There are lots of women on this board that will either be cycling with you or have already gone through it so don't hesitate to ask questions. I started my 1st cycle back in Oct and ended up with a BFP, so 1st time success does happen. You will see lots here.

Try to keep yourself occupied, but don't drain your enery. The hormones and stress will make you more tired. And as you get close to retrieval and transfer try to keep your stress levels to a low.

Best of luck to you and I am looking forward to hearing your progress.

Lots of love,
Stephanie

Hi Joanna,

Am on almost exactly the same cycle as you, have my baseline visit on 3rd Jan and hopefully start my stimulation drugs. How is it all going - any side effects? I just seem to have occassionally achey legs. Have you had your period yet? (think this is known as an AF on here).

Think this is your first cycle too - mine also. Nerve wracking, but trying to keep my mind on other things. Doesn't seem real sometimes!
