OK, my test date is tomorrow...finally. I don't know why, but I don't have a very good feeling about the results which is making me a bit anxious. We were decorating for the house and Christmas tree for the holidays yesterday and I was a bit of crab to him (I'm sure that's putting it mildly, I think I was more like a raving lunatic) ...poor dear. He keeps telling me to stay positive...so I am trying. Thank goodness he is so optimistic (and understanding!!) as it does (eventually!) help to keep my spirits up.

Hugs and prayers for all the BFN's. And as my DH keeps telling me and I keep trying to tell myself... "Stay positive and good things will happen".

PMA, PMA, PMA....and lots of baby dust!

Hi all. Jen and Pam, thanks for putting me on this list. Good luck to everyone who's waiting, congratulations to the BFPs and big hugs to the BFNs. Just looked through the list, a lot of BFNs this month, gulp.

My test date is 21st but that day is my last day at work before Xmas hols and we're meant to be going out for food and drinks - me and the two men I work with, who don't have a clue what I'm up to. For starters they're going to think it's suspicious that I won't have any alcohol (usually I'm pretty keen!) and secondly I don't really want to have to pop off to phone for the results and make small talk with them while I take in the result either way. So, although I'm desperate to know, I think I may ring the hospital and ask them if I can come in on 22nd instead so I can devote the whole day to it in peace! (but do a sneaky home one on 21st anyway)

Thanks all - had a good cry and DH and I snuggled for the night, what a wonderful husband I have. In the end at least the WAIT was over that was the hardest part not knowing either way - now we can plan again for the next try. Originally couldn't get a follow-up appointment until JAN 27th! So I whined and now the doctor will see me tomorrow

To all of you on the wait lots of love to all of you and its more than time for a few more Christmas mircles! Good luck!

Congrats to the BFP's! Now you can eat a little extra for Christmas AND have a good excuse! :D

:( Lisa - So sorry to hear your news.

You are lucky you can see your doctor. I was told "sorry it's negative, are you trying again, we will send out an appointment for the doctor but waiting list is about a month and then, have a nice Christmas". The hospital is meant to be one of the best and have been so good but i was furious. Am now hassling them to get to see the doctor but keep getting informed the waiting list is so long.

Anyway we will just have to try and be strong and will support each other through the next cycle. We will get our little bundles of joy one day soon.

Come on girls, the list looks so sad, we need some BFP. Good luck to everyone who is testing in the next few days.

Huge hugs to you all.

Hi all,
Lisa...so sorry to see BFN. I don't "know" you, but I really empathise. It's very hard to get ANY result. If it's a BFP, you go into denial ("REALLY??? Are you sure? Let me test again...just to be on the safe side!"), and if you get a BFN, the disappointment is just so huge.

As for me....I had two embies trasferred on monday morn. They were both 8 cells and perfect. In this country, they don't grade them, but the doc said they were fantastic. I also got to freeze two perfect 7 cell embryos! So we count ourselves very lucky this time round! If I get a BFN, my dr's appt is booked for 5 Jan. Will be VERY hard... Am testing on the 23rd or 24th Dec. It's early, so they strongly discouraged me from doing a HPT. Those things are irresistable! I want to do one today! The wait is killing me already. I keep thinking about the "what ifs". We eventually told my fam on Sat night, so at least that's a weight off the shoulders.

Good luck to everyone testing. Holding thumbs! PLEASE....we need some inspiration! A couples of BFP's would do wonders!
