I am really glad i found this site. I have been trying for a baby for the last 3 years and had no luck ! i have had clomid, ovarian drilling and have taken metformin and still no luck ! I am going to and information evening tomorrow nite to start my ivf treatment and i am petrified, i am nearly 25 years old and really havn't got a clue what i am in store for, so if any one wants to chat please get in touch, my partner doesnt really understand whats in store and i am driving him mad ! pleas ehelp me !!!

I am 23 and had my first IVF ICSI last April. I was having my treatment abroad , my doctor spoke hardly any english and i did not know nothing about IVF!!

This site really helped me, all the girls are so nice here!

The IVF treatment differs from one clinic to another, so i cant really tell you what is going to happen to you next. All i can say is that you will have a tmt (injections) to produce as many follicles as possible. You will then go into EC (Egg collection) , your eggs will be (hopefully) fertilised, some will be put back ET (egg transfer), if there is many, the rest will be frozen. Then it will be the 2ww (2 weeks wait), at the end of this 2 weeks, you will have a blood test and know if you are pregnant!

This is really simplified, but if you have more specific questions, i will be happy to answer you!
