im on day 14 since et and i done first response hpt this morning and it was an negative im absolutley gutted can it realy change in 2 days? i dont realy think so im gutted

i am sorry to hear that.HPT before the test date can be so evil

...
Sometimes the hcg isn't high enough to respond yet and another 2 days can make a differance...keep the PMA for the next 2 days and see...hang in there.

I'm so sorry for your early -ve, but remember, it is early. I will still keep everything crossed for you just in case...

BTW - Smita always says that even 1 day can make a difference, so try to keep up the PMA (I know it's hard).

something very strange happend this morning i got up and went to do hpt and i had a bit of dark brown discharge its got me puzzled my hpt come back as invalid but i think that was because of brown stuff any one had any think similar?

Hi ivf,
Sorry you're going thru a bad day..Just one more day left- hang in there- and yes, to a lot of women, a day, and even at times longer than that after test date has made a difference-it just depends on when your embies attach and start producing their hcg..
Also,
brown discharge could be a sign of implantation, so keep thinking positive.
I dont understand what you mean by an invalid hpt..
And I was told by my clinic , that, brown discharge does not affect the result of an hpt- as in, according to them, if you have brown discharge, that shd not affect your positive as the HPT tests hcg levels in urine- not in blood..I had brown discharge the day my af was due- and it continued into the whole of my 1st tri..
