Hi Lana- Congrats on your good cycle! Results are hard and I feel a little silly complaining to much after seeing what some of you have and are going through. This was my first cycle so getting a positive was more hopeful than realistic! Its WAY to early for a pregnancy test... but I know the lure of them...

Jen - sorry to hear about your long wait. I too, was really upset at the long wait - I'm not getting any younger! .We are assigned a nurse at the fertility center so I sent her a strongly worded email asking if I could switch doctors -I mean really, you spend like 5 minutes with them - its not like we have a "relationship" built, to one that wasn't so busy (they have 5 at the location I go to and about 25 in the practice overall). She said she would talk to the Doc and lo and behold I got a voice mesage saying they have an opening tomorrow! Might have just gotten lucky. Keep bothering them - maybe they will give you an appointment just to keep you quiet!


Hope to talk to the docs about my cycle as I feel as if it was less great only 5 mature eggs and only one "strong" embryo after ICSI. Since they said I was "fine" that seems like low numbers to me.

Hi all,

I had my FET y'day. It went well. I have 2embies inside. The doc said the thaw went good .The embie did divide after the thaw. One of them is a 10 cell one. I just hope and pray that it decides to latch on. Somehow, i felt too emotional during the procedure. The doc did show me the entire procedure. knowing that the embies are inside me, i was atleast happy that i am pregnant even if it's only for a day. I have started appreciating the small things in life. I have decided that I am going to take just enuf care and not overdo it. Last time, I felt that i made a fool of myself trying to be extra cautious. I am just little worried abt the fact that i have loose motion today. I hope that's not a bad sign! Does anyone know if endometriosis would affect the implantation? (not that i can do anything if it does!)

Thanking you for adding me to the list. sorry to bother you. But my testing date has been changed to 27th dec.

After going thro a lot of pain and stress , we all deserve a break and i am sure it's not far away!

im on day 14 since et and i done first response hpt this morning and it was an negative im absolutley gutted can it realy change in 2 days? i dont realy think so im gutted

LisaY - I informed the secretary at the hospital that we are not pleased there is no follow up consultation after our ivf cycle failed and told her we should be allowed to see a dr to discuss the outcome and when we can start our next cycle. Especially as we have to pay £3000 for this treatment as there is a 2 year waiting list.
SORTED - She called back today and i have an appointment next Wed.
We are far too strong on this site, they shouldn't mess with us haha.

Ady - So glad to hear you little embies are home with you. Rest and get pampered.

ivf21 - Hang in there and be strong. Test again in two days.

Pam - You deserve some praise, you keep the list so well. Big hug to you for your support.

Do hang in there, you there know what 2 days can do to those levels. Remember you can get false negatives by testing too early.

something very strange happend this morning i got up and went to do hpt and i had a bit of dark brown discharge its got me puzzled my hpt come back as invalid but i think that was because of brown stuff any one had any think similar?

Brown discharge is common in IVF, can come from implantation for example, so it's not a bad sign

I have no symptoms. But then I had none last time and was pg. I'm not even going to waste time thinking about it, because there's nothing I can do either way. I think I don't have the strength to be on tenterhooks on the 2ww any more, I've finally had to let go and let what will be be!
