Hi Rach,
If you just had your transfer Saturday (like five days ago?) - I am surprised they are testing already. And...okay - I might be confused...so bear with me.
I thought the beta was testing for the hormone released when the embryo implanted into the uterus. It varies greatly - and normally they check it about two weeks after the transfer - and then two days later. The 2nd test should be twice as high as the first. Our first beta was 406 and our 2nd was 1,011.
I didn't really realize they would test estrogen levels - at least not after the transer. Did they say it was a positive pregnancy test? If the BETA was 3670 at FIVE days...I would say that is really high - like - could all three embryos have taken root? But - if the doctor was testing estrogen levels, I don't know what the number would be at all!
As for progesterone levels...I know that anything over 80 is good. (at least according to our Doctor) Now...that was past our positive pregnancy test. Our surrogate started to spot (can be normal in IVF) and they determined she was a bit low and they increased her dosage - the spotting quit. I am not sure what that level would normally be at 5 days.
So, that doesn't help you at all. But thought I'd try. Good luck on your transfer - and hope all goes great!
