Hi I guess I am ready to post my 1st scan date it is the same as yours Denise Jan 9.

Hi - sorry not to be in touch for a while!.........hope you are all well and had a restful xmas and new year. I was in bed with a rather nasty bug over New Year - but on the mend now.

Just had my 2nd scan @ 14 weeks - good news and sad...

We were expecting twins from our 1st scan at 6.5 wks - but sadly one has not survived - 8 weeks in size from the scan yesterday - still visible...strange feeling - they think it will be absorbed - anyone had a similar experience?.......

The surviving baby is the right size for 14 wks - not sure what that - but the scan pics are amazing - quite scary actually .......

We are thankful we still have one baby that is ok - and feel truly lucky. Am just beginning to show now - my trousers won't do up!

Still keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

Hey there,
I have just found out that we conceived naturally (OMG!!!), we were about to start a FET cycle in Feb after two over the last couple of years (we have a daughter Annie as a result of the second one). My scan date is the 11th of Jan. I have everything crossed, so hope everything is OK!!

Just to let you know I to was initially expecting twins, but at the second scan which was around 8 weeks, it showed that one sac was empty.

I'm so sorry about what has happened, but the advice I was given was really helpful at the time "concentrate on the one that means to hang in there" - take care of yourself won't you.

JUST LOOKED MY SCAN IS FRIDAY THE 13TH OMG
IT WILL BE MY SECOND BECAUSE THE FIRST 06/01/06 WAS TOO EARLY WE ONLY SAW A THICK WOMB LINING
MY GP WILL DO IT THEY HAVE A SCAN THINGY? IN THE SURGERY. (NOT INTERNALLY)

Six weeks and two days going off my dates.
I see my real gp on friday for next scan so I hope that will show something.

Hi all - congrats to all scan successes.

Holly - don't want to pour water on your excitement but just wanted to say don't get too disappointed if it's still too early. I understand that the only scans you can do before 10 weeks are internal because external won't show up. I might be wrong but try not to get too disapoointed if 8 weeks is still too early. Why can't he give you an internal scan? That would give you a much clearer idea.
