Hi everyone!!! I'm new to this board but never new to infertility.

I was diagnosed that I had PCOS in 2002 when I had my check up with a new doctor.

We started TTC immediately with Clomid and later found out that DH has severe morphology (but good count). we had 3 cycles of clomid + metformin + HCG Shot/IUI and got pregnant on the 2nd cycle ending in a m/c at 11 weeks (no h/b).

Since I'm not getting any younger, we moved on to IVF this month and we did a 4 cell embryo transfer (3 embies) a week ago - December 11.

So, technically, I'm in the 2 week wait. :?

Hoping to get some info from you ladies about IVF since I'm a newbie in IVF.

Hello KikayC and welcome to the site. Sorry to see your news.

You might like to try the General forum and join a thread called 'all on 2ww'. Here you will find lots of lovely ladies going through tmt at the same time as you. There are other threads too with loads of info and support.

Good luck with your tmt and hope your 2ww flys by!!

From one newbie to another...

Post by pqceo »

Greetings,

I am a newbie too. I just found this site last night. I have one daughter (1st try IVF) and I am now in 2ww zone. I had an et yesterday. How are you feeling? I cramped up yesterday and a little this morning, but right now I feel nothing. I know everyone is different. I guess I would find comfort (or feel better) if there was a common symptom we all shared regardless..lol

my ET was traumatic. they couldn't get pass my cervix cause there was mucus plug or something so it took an hour before they could do the transfer. My doctor wanted to cancel the transfer to another day cause she doesn't want to force the catherer as I may bleed.

Anyway, I didn't have much cramps after the ET, I was more sore from the EC, it's like I've so much fluid in my abdomen. Fortunantely, it went away on its own 2 days after ET. AF Cramps sneaked in a week after transfer and I had a lil spotting. I didn't know if it was from the EC.
