can anyone advise about killer cells or immune system ?

Post by donna99 »

hi guys,

been thru several failed tmts and one miscarriage already...

just wondering as im going in the new year for my fourth tmt of FET if this fails, would anyone suggest getting further tests like looking for killer cells or a problem with my immune system, etc?

does anyone know how these tests are performed?

does anyone know that if i had a problem with either is it likely that it would have been picked up by now in one of my several hundred (it feels like!) blood tests which are routine?

many thanks & look forward to your advise,

good wishes & best of luck to you all out there I hope it is a happy end to 2005 to many and a great 2006 for the rest!

just wanted to respond and give you a Hi there!
sorry i can't help you.

If you get no luck here i would re-post on the over 40 buddies thread on the general forum. You could try there. I am sure the Wise Ones will have an answer for you. I THINK ( but don't quote me) that Big J ( taylorjooles) knows alot about this. Hope you get your answers. Good luck Donna

I had killer test done and came out abnormal. I'm currently taking prednisolone. Its a steroid pill that I have to carry a blue card. NHS does killer blood test and will take around 2 weeks time to get the result. Just ask you GP or Fertility clinic for referral. Fertility clinic will cost a bit so i therefore advive do it on NHS. But some NHS doesnt do this so give them a call first. You MUST have this test done coz it does helps or at least u'll know whats going wrong.
