How pathetic is this? Doing the washing up this evening I felt quite bad period pains and I quickly convinced myself it was all over. DP came through the door and I solomnly told him my period was coming and got all snappy at him and he got quite worried. 10 minutes later, turned out the pain was relieved by a big 'bottom raspberry' and the 'period pain' miraculously disappeared!

I'm not sure I can stand another 8 days of this kind of suspense!

Mandy 7 how are you doing?

Thanks for the baby dust. Still looking for any early symptoms, which all my friends who have had children tell me is pointless!

Could someone change my test date to the 22nd? I'd do it myself only I don't know how.

It was on the 21st, and although I'm desperate to know, 21st is my last day at work and I really don't want to be at work when I find out so I rang and asked them to move it to 22nd when I have the whole day to myself to devote to it and cry or celebrate in private!

Went food shopping today and had to forcibly tear myself away from the evil pee sticks (thought of your advice Jen). I so hope this works, it's my first and last try at IVF. DP's 16yr old daughter living with us now, causing a lot of unwanted stress in the house. Her mother has just been on the phone to me for an hour stressing me out no end. There should be a special rest home for 2 ww'ers!

Thanks for the chilling dust Jen, I think it's working! (Refusing to answer the phone to DP's daughter's mother is also a big help. I'll let DP deal with that one for the mo)

Congratulations to Maud. Must be so exciting! (Apart from the OHSS bit)

Hiya all you lovely ladies,

Sorry I haven't been on for a few days, been busy and trying not to think about babies. I'm so pleased for everyone who has had a BFP and thinking of all the ones who have had a BFN. I fear I'm going to be a BFN as I don't have any symptoms. Nothing at all. I know everything has been interfered with this time (I have been pregnant before), but I don't feel anything. I'm so tempted to do hpt, but after reading all your postings, I promise I won't. I have a sore tummy tonight and am thinking it's AF coming. I don't know what to think anymore. I'm sick of this, IT SUCKS!!!!

Sorry, I don't mean to go on and on, but I'm feeling pretty down just now. Has anyone else out there got no symptoms?

Ah well, if it's not to be, it's not to be and at least if it's a BFN I can get pissed over Christmas and jump DP.

Take care ladies, you all keep me sane.

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to join the 2ww tomorrow. Fingers crossed my 3 little embies are OK.
Dizzie, I'm so sorry to see you're feeling sad. :( This is such a roller coaster we are on. I was told none of my embies fertilized and I was completely devastated. 5 hours later found out 3 fertilized with rescue ICSI. Talk about a range of emotions!! Symptoms can be different with every pregnancy. Pregnancies can have zero symtpoms and have many symptoms. My last pregnancy (on stims) I had uterine cramping the whole time. I was told again and agin by me RE that cramping can occur (even fairly commonly) with normal pregnancies. My natural pregnancies I had no cramping and my Clomid pregnancy also felt different. Sometimes I think the hormones can change things. Try your hardest to send postive vibes tp your embies. All this waiting and hormones can make anyone go mad. I'm a very good example of that . :) I'll be thinking very warm thoughts of you and your embies and be checking back in 3 days after bed rest. Have dh give you extra hugs.

Lots of sticky babydust to everyone. Lets hope Santa got our letters!
(Could someone put me on the testing list? If all goes well, I'll be Dec 30th.)

Hi Dizzie

Sorry you're feeling fed up. I test on the same day as you and don't feel any symptoms either (apart from the ones I keep imagining 10 times a day). Tried convincing myself I've got morning sickness when really it's stress sickness, also tried convincing myself my boobs are sore but that's just from squeezing them! I'm just in a bubble of my own, going through the motions and expecting AF to start any minute. But even if AF does come, we mustn't give up til we've tested properly, only 3 night's sleep between now and Thursday and hopefully we might be BFP's... and if not, at least this waiting will be over and we can have a good xmas and New Year and get as pissed as we like, wine, mmmmm.

I promise to resist the hpt if you do! And like people say, some people don't feel any symptoms when they are pregnant and other people even have regular periods, so we can't lose hope until we've tested. Good luck for Thurs, I'll be looking for your result.

Hi ladies,

Thank you so very much for all your replies. You lot made me laugh. I don't know what I'd do without you all. I am trying to keep hopeful, I really am and Daly, your message really made me feel better.

I will keep chin up and think positive and wait patiently til Thursday. Luellie, good luck to you on Thursday. You'll know before me because my results have to be posted. I'll be thinking of you and will check in to see a BFP!! :D

Take care and thanks again for all your support.
