Lavender

I was advised to take pregnacare by my clinic.

I bought some in the local health food shop (holland and Barrett I think)

It is a vitamin supplement including folic acid and iron and all the other stuff that us pg girls need for the little ones.

http://www.pregnacare.com/uk/
is their website and has a complete list of all the vits and minerals that it contains.

Hope you are feeling a better now.
Take care & Best wishes
Ange

Hi there Lavender

I wasn't allowed to take it because of the drugs I was on - just check with one of the people at your clinic that there is nothing in it that might clash with any drugs you are still taking.

Good luck

Hi Lavendar

I would recommend Patrick Holfords book optimum nutrition in pregnancy. There is a very good section on supplements and actually I opted for Zita Wests supplements + some extra stuff after reading it as his recommendations for some things are completely off the scale compared to pregnancare. LP is right too, check with your clinic. My German dr has just put me on an axtra 300mg a day magnesium to relax the womb a bit while it is stretching.....It was good to be able to check this with Patricks book and it is bang on what he recommends.

hope that helps
