BFN, end of the road for me. Couldn't believe it and went to local supermarket to buy evil pee stick so I could see it for myself and that was negative too. Have drunk a bottle of wine, smoked 50 fags, eaten a load of chocolate cake. Am menopausal at 34 and run out of money (DP got 3 kids, so have to pay) so will have to come to terms with it and am getting a puppy as a consolation prize. The worst bit is all my friends and family who know about this wanting to know the result and then having them feel sorry for me. The way I feel now, having people pitying me is the last thing I want, I feel enough of a failure already.

Honey I am so truely sorry...
It is the worst when your family either won't leave you alone or they avoid you because they don't know what to say to you and then you feel awkward around them! Such a horribly weird time!
If our FET does not work it is the end of the road for us too so I know how you feel. Doesn't seem right that it is sooooooo expensive! We paid out of our pocket too!

Take care of yourself, try to have a good Christmas and I'll be praying for you!

HUGS,

Allison

I am so sorry about your news.

Nothing I can say will make it any easier, but know that we're all here for you.

Take care of yourself and keep indulging - you deserve it.

I'm so sorry. How disappointing. Hopefully the booze and cigs will help a little.

Hugs.

I don't know what to say except so sorry. All the girls are here for you to vent your anger, frustration and pain. Keep indulging in the fags and the booze if it makes you feel better. If I get a BFN I'm going to text everyone and tell them I'll phone them in the New Year.

Take care and make sure you get loads of extra hugs.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your words of support. Was feeling a bit sorry for myself yesterday. The booze and fags didn't really help and now I've got a rotten hangover! But I did go out and buy a cocker spaniel puppy to cheer myself up and it certainly worked. I got a girl puppy and called her daisy which is the name I'd given one of my eggs. So I'm going to be her mummy instead, she's so sweet and soft and cuddly I couldn't possibly be sad with her around.

Ellie,

Puppy is an excellent idea and I can see that she will be a very spoilt girl. You take care of yourself and hope you indulge lots over the holidays. At least the puppy will keep you busy for a while.

I hope you'll still stay addicted to this site and you just never know what the future holds.
