Hi ladies,
this waiting is driving me crazy!!!!!!! I honestly don't feel very positive about the outcome of this IVF. Will know all soon. I just wish there was some way of knowing. I wanted to stop all my meds because feel so sure that I'm neg, but DH had a fit. These hormones (Cyclogest and oestrogen supplements) are giving me the most terrible headaches. Migraines actually. Been really ill with them. Non-functional from the pain and vomiting. Think my doctor is sick of hearing from me because he has to give me injections all the time! Good luck to the other 2w waiters! Also, big congrats to the recent BFP's! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   So glad it worked out for you. To those with a BFN..... :( I really understand that terrible sense of loss. I'm so sorry!

Got blood taken today and have posted it to hospital. If they get it before 11am tomorrow they will phone, if not then we have to wait until next Wednesday. Still don't have any symptoms, but I'm going to put me and DP out of our misery tomorrow and use an 'evil pee stick'. Sorry, but I can't wait til Wednesday and tomorrow will be 16 days since ET so I reckon it's got to be long enough now?

Feel so scared, but I will post tomorrow one way or another.

Take care everyone.

Message to Dizzie - go ahead and use HPt and don't feel bad about it. Theres nothing wrong with them - the only thing that can happen is when people test too early they can get a 'wrong' negative. Its very rare if not impossible to get a 'wrong' positive unless you test way too early and you've still got the Hcg injection in your body. You'll be fine testing after 16 days and at the end of the day many clinics ask you to do a Hpt anyway. I did one 2 nights before my 'official' test (after avoiiding them in my first 2 cycles) and I was glad I did - either way I wanted to feel prepared before I went to clinic. I was so glad I did test because I needed the 2 days to get over the shock of being pregnant or I would have collapsed with emotion at the clinic I think!! Best of luck with your test - I'm sure no-one would blame you for needing to get a good idea of the result before Christmas. Just remember if its negative it might be wrong so be careful with yourself, and if its positive - fantastic - can't really lose out as I see it. Just be absolutely sure that you want to know and that you can handle either result before you do it particularly with Christmas coming up. Best of luck, and to all other 2week waiters,

love Cherylxx

Hiya ladies,

Just wanted to thank you all for being there for me over the past few weeks and I'm so glad you've all been there for support and advice. Well, I did an HPT this morning and you honestly could've knocked my over with a feather, it was POSITIVE!!! The hospital also phoned this afternoon and confirmed the result. I honestly don't believe it. I had convinced myself that it hadn't worked.

Very early days yet, I know, but going to enjoy my holidays now and so, so glad that bloody 2ww is over. That's hell!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and I hope we get some more BFP's over the holidays.

Take care.
