Blastocyst Transfer-Help Please

Post by Jerzee25 »

Hi all. I recently just had a BFN and I have one embryo frozen.....I was just wondering how many people had successful cycles with frozen blastocyst? I'm a little concerned being it's only one that is frozen. Can anyone shed some light for me.

There is a frozen embryo transfer thread, which includes blast transfers, on the General Forum.

I CAN LIFT YOU UP - It worked for me:)

My partner had testicular Cancer and was unable to freeze any sperm as he had so few before his treatment. We had just ONE shot at ICSI. Our doctor managed to get 3 Blastocyst embryos good enough to freeze. I had the 1st one transfered and it worked! Having a blastocyst is the stongest chance you will get with an embryo. The frozen embies have a 75% thaw rate with 50% of cells needing to make it through and ours did no problem. I know my anxiety would have been higher if I knew we had only 1 frozen blastocyst as that would have been an absolute only chance but now we have on on the way (and 2 more possible chances) I understand how you must feel but relax and believe in that strong little embie X. God bless it!

Go the Frozen blasties!!! X x x GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Both 30-Male Factor (Test.Cancer)
Aug 05 OHSS: transfer cancelled (3 embies frozen)
Nov 05 BFP !!! 1 embryo transferred
June 06: ID girls from 1 blastocyst.
