Congratulations everyone with BFP!! And lots of hope to those with BFN for BFP in the future.

I plan to pee on a stick at the end of the week as well Dizzie. (*Hey, it worked for you) This 2 ww is driving me crazy. I'm constantly afraid to move wrong or get up to fast.

Could someone please add me to the test list. I test on Dec 30. (if I haven't passed out from anxiety!!) Thank you.

Merry Christmas!! Image

Daly,

The 2ww is a killer! I found the second week the hardest. You go girl, I'm rooting for you and thinking of your BFP. What a fab start to the New Year that will be.

Take care and sending you lots of hugs.

Hiya ladies,

I just want to say how touched I am to read all the kind, loving replies I've had to my news. I am genuinley humbled by everyone's kind words and thoughts.

I hope everyone with a BFP continues to keep well and carry on getting 'rounder' in the new year and I hope everyone who sadly didn't get there this time has loads of luck and renewed gusto and PMA for the new year.

Loads of luck and love to everyone. :D :D :D

Take care.

Test date 12/28

Post by mbzz »

Hello. I'm new to this site and after reading entries on several of the forums, thought I would just post here as well. My husband and I just finished up our first IVF/ICSI cycle and will have our blood test done on 12/28 and so hoping for + !! I had heard that a hpt could be done from post day 10+ and get a + result... I took one today, day 11 and it was negative........On many of the postings, I have read where the women have had cramping/bleeding and/or discharge and this wasn't a good "sign". I'm 11 days post transfer of 2 embryos and have had nothing out of the ordinary. I'm on nightly injections of 1ml progestrone and feel fine. The waiting is very hard. I'm just wondering if anyone out there was sucessful on their first attempt? I'm happy I've not had the cramping/bleeding, but then again I have read that all could have been absorbed and then just passed when my mp arrives...... experience and opinions are GREATLY appreciated.....

Pam

Hi Mbzz,

How are you bearing up? Did you go for your blood test today? When will you hear? Please post the result. A blood test is more sensitive than the 'evil pee sticks', although once I had a 'borderline' with a blood test. My clinic don't test until 15 days after ET and I did my HPT on the morning of day 15 and surprisingly it was a positive. I think testing too early can make all the difference as even a day or two either way can help. This was our first IVF cycle and it worked for us as it does for many other couples, but unfortunatley not for everyone. There really isn't anything you can do but hope and pray for a +ive result. In my particular case I was so stressed out with work and trying to do christmas shopping and it still worked, so you just never know.

Anyway, I'm thinking of you today and all the other ladies who are about to test and hopefully we'll see some BFP's.

Take care :D

Just got home from having blood drawn, will not know anything until later this afternoon.. although questioning by the nurse- am I still bloated? breats tender? etc etc....all answers were NO.... she didn't seem very optimistic either and asked if I took hpt, YES, i did- was negative this morning.... what left to say? Hopefully the test is wrong is all she could say... but I'm prepared for the negative... will keep all posted.
