RE: New and scared....(long)

Post by Bella3 »

Hi all,
Let me begin by introducing myself...my name is Bella, Iam 28 yrs. old from CT. DH and I have been TTC since April of last year. We got pregnant during the summer but it resulted in a tubal rupture and I lost both tubes. :( We were devastated.

I have two children from a previous marriage and DH has been there father figure (and is so good at it) my boys love him to pieces, as I do. He so deserves to experience the joy of bringing a child into the world!!

After an HSG we were told the only way we can ever conceive again would be through IVF. That was October 5th 2005. We started IVF as soon as we were able to. I had my first dose of Lupron November 25th.

On Dec. 18th I had two healthy looking embryo's transferred and I have been holding on to all possible hope that both or at least one will stick.

Tomorrow is beta day for me and I am a nervous wreck to say the least. I have already taken 4 HPT's. The first was negative but the other three have been positives.

I am concerned and worried sick since I've had spotting/bleeding since yesterday. It's not much but it's there and I feel like I have AF. Sorry if TMI, but I've been so stressed out over this.... It isn't enough to tough a pad but when I wipe it's there. Yesterday it was red and today it looks pinkish and it's a lot less.

I posted in this board in hopes that I may find some comforting advice from someone already preggers. Has anyone here experienced bleeding before theie beta and still had a positive outcome?

Thanks in advance....
Bella

Hi there

Sorry about everything you're going through - I hope that you get the encouraging news that you deserve.

I'm afraid I can't comment on the bleeding, but I do know that there are several ladies here who have been through it and I'm sure if they see your post will happily share experiences with you.

Keeping everything crossed.

Little P
