As for me I start lupron tomorrow!!! I can't believe that I am finally starting, I have been waiitng for a long time to get to this point!!!

hiya guys,

hope you all had a wonderful christmas & that santa does bring us all we pray for!

well i arrived back from my hols last nite only to find that the water pipes in our house had frozen and one had split, so that was a charming job for DH at 1am this morning! he said that we were lucky that we didnt come back to the whole house underwater! (so there is a god afterall, hey?)we should have some water by this afternoon & i hope that when he turns it back on that there isnt another split pipe that he hasnt noticed elsewhere in the house!!!

its great to see that there is a list already set up so we all know where we are upto... my AF is normally to the day but is playing up, it would have all been perfect but Dec AF was 10 days early( i was praying it was another miracle conception and it was implantation bleeding, no chance of that though!)

so i should have been requesting tmt end of jan for my FET but god knows it could be alot earlier or later.( end of jan would have been perfect with work, etc but nevermind anytime is welcome!)

its hard getting back used to this cold weather after being in canaries which was nice and hot!oh well, hopefully my belly will be nice and warm now for my little embies to grow grow grow and bloody well stick!!!

i really do hope that all of our dreams come true this year girls ( and guys)

I can't believe it's New Year's Eve tomorrow, time is going so quickly. 2006 is going to be a GOOD year - it HAS to be!!!!!

Thanks Sophie for referring me here. Hi all! My name is Ann, I am 38 and husband is 45. I am in my 2nd marriage to my loving DH. I have children from my first marriage, but regretfully had a tubal. Some people mistakenly feel I am being greedy as I already have healthy children. Perhaps it is hard to understand to some....but I want so much to have a baby with my husband (it would be his first). Children are so precious, and being a mom is so rewarding. This will be our first IVF (what a great way to bring in 2006, huh?)

I hope to meet others for support through this incredible journey.

Whew! I FINALLY gave myself a Lupron injection. I didn't feel like driving all the way out to DH's work at 10 pm last night. I have tried twice before but couldn't do it. So last night was a big night for me. LOL

I started stimming this morning...DH gave me the first injection of Follistim. I wanted him to show me how to put the pen together since I blanked out at the Doctor's office and forgot everything she told me.

Any side effects that you guys want to share? I read up on it...but I like to hear personal experiences...

Great Job Jen!! You will soon be a pro at the shots. Its always scary the 1st time, but it gets easier.

I will be starting my stims on the 6th of Jan. I always had DH give them to me too but once in a while I would give them to myself and DH would be right next to me for Support.

I even gave myself a progesterone shot!! That was a tough one though!!

Oh that is the BIG needle! LOL I told the nurse that I wanted to use the Lupron needles for the progesterone...She said no....

Heya Girls,

Well, i'm now starting to get quite nervous. I get the blood results on tuesday, and will know one way or another if i can carry on with tx or not. Am scared/nervous/excited!!! Have been on the pill for a while now, and am just keeping my fingers crossed that we're gonna get some good news!!

Hello Ladies. My name is Gina and I will be going through my 2nd IVF this month (Jan.) I begin my meds. Jan 13. I live in Montana and will be traveling to Spokane, WA for the treatment. I will be doing my first three u/s and blood work here at home and will be in Spokane Jan 21-27. I will come home for 3-5 days and return for et.

I want to let you know I will be thinking good thoughts for all of us this month. Being my second IVF, I would love to give support to all of you doing this for the first time.
