Friends, Plz tell me what are the symptons of IVF Pregnancy? This is my 1st IVF, I'm 24 and My husband is 25. My hubby was missing his tube so his doctor did MESA to get his sperm. I had 5 eggs and 2 of them grew well and transferred on dec. 20th.
I will have my pregnancy test on Jan.3rd 2006. So Its been over 10 days and still no sings of prenancy like cramping or vomiting etc. Plz share your experience with me. Thanks a lot.

Are you on daily progesterone shots? I was, and these gave me cramps that feel like typical menstrual cramps (beginning the day of transfer and they haven't stopped yet). I also had lots of clear discharge.

The only 'symptom' I had was feeling dizzy most of the time, 2 days following transfer (which no one else has mentioned as a sign of pregnancy, either on this web site or in books!). I also started with bad AF type (period) pains the day before my pregnancy test. I had no other signs until a few days after my +ve test, then I started with the nausea, tiredness and sore boobs! A lot of girls on this website have had no symptoms at all and have been pregnant, so it really doesnt mean anything. I know the waiting is the hardest part, but you really wont know until your test date.
Heres wishing for a BFP for you both!

With my first IVF and it was positive, during the 2ww I didn't feel pregnant and I didn't feel my period coming on either, so I thought it didn't work. But it did. Everybody is different and has different symptoms, so hope for the best. Good Luck !!

Symptoms
We are actually on the exact same schedule - I had my transfer on the 20th as well and my test will be on the 3rd too - so I will be praying for us both! I have been wondering about the symptoms as well. I am on prog. shots and an estrogen patch too and I don't know if any of my symptoms are because of these or not.
I have had very sore breasts and some terrible headaches. ( I thought for sure the headaches were a sign of AF, but it hasn't arrived.) Also, I have some clear discharge as well. I wish there were tell-tale signs, but like the others posted, it's different w/everyone. I have had 2 children and with one a felt great and with one I was sick w/in days of conception. I hope to hear about a positive test result.

Sounds like a BFP tro me! Congratulations! I think its unlikely anything at this stage apart from been pregnant would give you a +ve on a HPT. (You are only 2 days away from your official test). I really wouldnt worry about having no symptoms yet. You might be lucky and get none! (Or it may all hit you in a few days as your hormone levels get stronger).

I didnt take a HPT until after my official blood test. My beta was on the lower side, 52 on day 13. I did a HPT (clear blue) which measures from 50, on day 14. It showed a faint positive. My beta blood test again wasnt great on day 15. It was 81. I was warned I could miscarry. On day 18 I did a hpt which was a strong positive, which reassured me. I think I remember doing another one approx a week later, which again was a strong line. After that I had my scans at 6.5 and 8.5 weeks.
I know its hard. I found my wait after my beta test harder than my 2ww, because I had been warned that it could all be taken away from me.
If you have a good +ve line on your pg test, then that sounds good. If I had taken HPT before my beta they would no doubt have shown negative because my beta was too low. I started feeling reassured from approx 5 wks pg when I started having nausea and then a little bit more confident after my scans and then again after 12 weeks. The worry doesnt go away completely though and no doubt once my baby arrives (Hopefully safe and well) there will be more worry to come!

Dont worry about all the different emotions/feeling like you are going crazy.This is such a big thing we are all going through, its completely normal! If you read the first trimester thread on pregnant after treatment, you will see everyone else also worries the same. Just look after yourself and be kind to yourself.

Hello, I'm new to all this so please excuse me if I say/ do anything a bit dumb!
Just had my second attempt at IVF (ICSI) and am waiting to do HPT (that's the only abbreviation I know!) on Friday, 3 Feb. So scared. Feeling very different this time. Very bloated and uncomfortable and a bit nauseous last couple of days. Also a bit of dizziness. I'm pretty sure this is all down to the progesterone, oestrogen and some other tablet (anti-miscarriage?) I was prescibed. Last time I had a biochemical preg. Just praying it works this time. Went to Madrid for treatment which was fantastic (and cheper than the UK clinic I'd used).
Anyone else had any of these symptoms? Also bit of upset tum for first few days....
Good luck to everyone out there going through the same thing. THis is so cruel isn't it??!! Ah well, if it works, then we wont care....
