Hi Everyone

I'll be cycling again on 1st feb all going well.

I'm not very happy at the moment, seem to have the blues - guess it is just the nerves kicking in. Trying to be positive. Having acu tomorrow so hope that will perk me up a bit.

Hi All

I too had lots of weight to loose after three years on IVF. 10kg had crept on over that period of time :( Lucky, I have had eight months off and was able to loose 6 kg's - no easy task! It seems the older you are the harder it is to loose the weight.

I manged to loose the weight using the weight watchers program, althought I did not attend the classes. In Australia you can join online and get the information and tools to help stay motivated. I also walked 50 minutes at least every second day. I found that writting everything I ate down was what worked in the end and the walking.

I also count myself lucky that it was only 10 kg that I had to loose. I have heard of others putting on much more weight than that!

Good luck with the battle.

Hey everyone!!
Well, we just had our consult with the dr, after our negative result this time around. Sad to say, Im not a very good responsder to the stim meds, therefore I don't produce many eggs. My FSH is at 9.7 and I will be tested again at the end of the month when AF arrives, if it is above the 9.7, re will not try another cycle. This cylce we only had 3 eggs, 2 became embries- 8cell no fragmentation on one- the other was 8cell with 5% frag, RE said of course there was no reason one of them shouldn't have attached, so IF we are able to go through with another cycle, she will glue the embries with added hope of them attaching permanently. She suggested we may want to look into Donor eggs and all that holds. I'm very much saddened by all of this. If my FSH does come back under the 9.7 we will very much GO FOR IT one last time. I will be testing FSH end of Jan / beginning of Feb- if a go- we will be looking at a March ET. Good luck to everyone and I'm very thankful I found all of you!!!!

Hey there my Fabulous and Magnificant cycle buddies,
Thought it would be good to do a re-cap of where all of us are up to. If we're feeling lazy we can just cut and paste it to update our own details and save lots of retyping: Here goes!!

Bertie: FsH tests late Jan / early Feb
Bella: IVF Feb with new clinic. Detoxing!!
Jen: Cycle end Feb
Pauline: cycling in early Feb
Daly: down regging Feb, puck up and transfer March
Allison: FET March
JenD: Starting treatment end of Jan
Tracii: Egg pick up around 12th of Feb
Di C: Treatment in US, embie transfer 15th of March
Claire: Cycle Feb, awaiting af
Kate: Cycle end Jan / early Feb
Belinda: FET Feb or March depending on af

Well, thats us thus far, hopefully I haven't missed anyone! Hope everyone is keeping well, I'm awaiting lovely old af, this cycle has been a looooong one for me (why does it always seem that way when you're waiting to start an IVF cycle???)

Thanks Bella for creating the list - it really helps understand where everyone is at during the cycles. How is the detox going? I did a 7day and 10 day during the summer, just did a waterfast (i.e.aggressive 1 day detox on Monday). Hang in there....you feel wonderful after the detox! I am doing a 3-day detox next week. I am a healthy eater but sometimes like my bread and sweets

I hope everyone is doing well and eating healthy! Gosh I can't believe I start DRing in less then 3 weeks. Will start DRing while on vacation in India ...in Kerala where Ayurveda was founded so looking forward to some nice treatments and relaxing!

Off for a jog in miserable, cold, snowing/raining..thinking of healthy ovaries and uterus on the way!

Hi Girls

Glad to hear everyone had a good xmas and NY, even if we did all put some weight on!! I'm aiming to get back to the gym and do some exercise - now am I just being hopeful here?!!

I'm back at my clinic next Thursday for an information session and a dummy ET - they struggled to get the catheter in last time and think this may be a reason for it not working. Anyway, looking forward to starting the tmt, although am abit nervous. Hopefully the FET will take place the middle of Feb, if AF is on time!!

Tracii - looks like you and I could be on the dreaded 2WW together if it all goes to plan.

Good luck with all the detoxing and dieting :D

Hey all!

I'm still waiting for AF. Usually comes on time, but I think my post-ivf progesterone has yet to wear off. I like the sound of having our babies in time for the Christmas holidays Traci. Puts a positive spin on my neg Christmas IVF.

As for my unfortunate newly extabished 10 lbs. I was too tired to excercise yesterday and had some chocolate instead....hmmm doesn't sound as good today as it tasted yesterday...
Image
Will definately get on treadmill today.

Also I ordered a mind-body mediation CD. Anyone else try those?

Bella - great job on the list - not an easy task! I'll try to help keep it updated.Image

Positive thoughts of outstanding ovaries to everyone!!

Tracii, love your idea of having babies for xmas - just think, we wouldn't have to go back to work - now that is a lovely thought!!

As for the exercise routines - just remember its the thought that counts!! Just imagine exercising and the pounds will fall off (thats what I'm trying to tell myself anywaY). Had every intention of going to the gym yesterday, but alas something else came up that had to be done instead! Again, I'm intending to go tonight, but who knows what will come up today!! :D

Hi Buddies :D

Daly - I wouldn't worry about not going to the gym and enjoying yourself with some chocolate..we need it and deserve it! I was good all day yesterday...and then while watching CSI I got this great idea to have some ice-cream..it was wonderful and I enjoyed every bit of it!

Kate21 - I am taking a break today..I don't belong to a gym so I usually go jogging...not in the mood today - still snowing here. I am so tired of the snow already.

BelB - How is the detox?

Keep thinking positive thoughts and visualizing healthy ovaries and uterus. When I was preparing in Sept. for my 2.IVF I went on long walks and visualized my insides being healthy and producing beautiful eggs along with some deep breathing....well I got naturally pregnant that month - so keep up postive thoughts! I read somewhere you shouldn't visualize into the future (i.e. holding the baby) but visualize in the current time...if you don't know what your ovaries look like...visualize what you think they look like - with lots of healthy blood pumping through your body.

feb/march buddies

Post by donna99 »

hiya guys,

i thought i would join you in this group if thats ok.....it took me a long time to decide to join this group as not posted for a while....

im waiting for AF to come this month so it will be our 4th FET attempt in feb sometime, as AF is not so regular last couple of times after being regular for 15 years!!!!!

i say 4th FET attempt, its actually 9th tmt cycle (inc. cancelled ones, IUIs etc)

think it took me so long to join your group as its coming up to one year since i had a miscarriage (16th feb) from a miracle natural conception. i was 7 weeks 6 days gone.

i am 30 years old and DH is 33 yrs old TTC for 4.5 years now and our only prob is that i have mild endo and one tube is a little slower than the other.....our private clinic says that i am a perfect patient! no positive results yet though! think ill have tests re: my immune system/killer cells done if this next FET fails....

sorry to sound a little down at moment but just aprehensive....

looking forward to making some new friends with you feb/march ladies...

hope you all had a peaceful xmas & i look forward to celebrating with you all in this new year.

thinking, dreaming all the time for our wish to come true,

lol donna99 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
