Hi wannabmum,

If it's of any help my wife and I tried for 4 years and on our 5th attempt in Nov it finally worked and she got preggie with 2 Blastocysts. We had really started to lose hope and people said keep your chin up and stay positive. Yesterday we had the 7week scan and it was twins!

I know it sounds cliche but IT WILL happen to you. Never give up hope and I am certain you will be on here spreading the news sometime :)

Best of luck...

Wannabmum,
I am so sorry to hear of your sad news. I don't want to tell you what I
would do because if there is one thing I've learned through this whole process is that EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT! You have to do what you feel is right for you. I will continue to pray for you that you will find the answers and peace that you so desire. Don't lose hope - your miracle will come.

Congrats to the BFP's!!!

Im sorry for you Wannabmum!! Your time will come :D It will for all of us!!

Yes WannaBmum, I am cycling right now. I start stimming tomorrow and depending how I respond I could have EC around the 16th.

Last time I got only 5 embies. 3 were put back and 2 went to blast and were frozen.

This is a new cycle so hopefully I will respond as good or better. All bloodwork came back great.

I am taking the pill right now and the only problem is, I have been spotting for a couple days. Has this happened to anyone? I started the pill on the 24th of DEC and that was day 3 of AF??? Weird eh??

Hope all is well,

Talk soon,
Jackie

Well done Angeleyes!!
20 follies is great!! I hope you are feeling well right now :D

The first time for me I put back 3 and when I did FET i put back 2
because that all we had left.

Remember it only takes 1 and its all about quality not quantity.

Everything crossed for you :D :D

Good luck.

Hi, everyone,

Thanks everyone for your support. I wish I had know this site earlier.

I just got back from my RE. Not sure why i wa not pregnant since three of embryos that were transferred were fairly high in quality. He wants to test me to see if I have some clotting issues that's preventing the embryos from attatching - or ruling it out, either way.

It looks like I may start my second ivf cycle in Feb/Mar. My RE said that he is cautiously optimistic about me being able to get pregnant. I was very disappointed after my first ivf. Although i know there was a chance of 35% of being pregnant ( 65% chance of not being pregnant) but everything had gone so smoothly and a little better than we expected.

Hopefully, 2nd time is the charm!!!!

JackieG,

I want to clarify that when you said pill you meant the birth control pill, right? I have never taking pills prior starting ivf. I spotted pretty much during my suppression period - the spotting continues after my AF. My nusre told me that's because the pill is very low in dose. Some women do experience spotting, and it's something need not to be concerned about. Good luck!
