Our 1st IVF attempt ended with a chemical pregnancy. HCG levels reached 12 on day 14 and the subsequent AF brought an end to the attempt.
Ever since that day, my wife has had an AF flow every 10th day. Our RE did a sonogram and said that the lining was too thick and thats why it was being partially shed periodically.
He prescribed progestorone "prometrium" tablets so that the lining sheds completely. After 8 days of prometrium, she did have her AF. The sonogram revealed that the lining was totally gone. Needless to say, we were very relieved.
Now again ... today is the 10th day since the last AF ... and like clockwork she starts bleeding again. We are so worried about this whole thing and were planning on starting the FET.
Did anyone have such an experience and what was the diagnosis/treatment.?
