EC Tomorrow

Hi everyone,this is my first treatment of icsi we have low sperm count about 8 million but all with good motility etc.I am going for my ec tomorrow morning, feeling nervous about it all. They said i was ready on day 8 of my injections for collection, she said my ostrogen level was at 5000 and therefore they could possible freeze them all but it is all up in the air at the moment.<br>She said that she thought i would have around 30 eggs i cant believe this is right how would she know? <br>Is anybody else at a similar stage to me, i didnt know about this site, it is difficult my DH & parents are fantastic , i have my parents living with me at the moment they are in the middle of moving house, life is quite stressful at the moment but i am trying to keep calm and positive.

hello Sarah Jayne,<br><br>welcome to the site! Its great here, everyone is great and such help to each other. But be warned.....you will become addicted!!!<br><br>Im sure you will find it great especially as youre coming up to your 2ww, It will drive you mad!<br><br>the nurses can tell how many follies you have but it doesnt mean that there is an egg in each of them, you obviously have alot of follies,<br>you must be feeling a little uncomfy!<br><br>I hope all goes well tomorrow for you. Wow Wee 30 Follicles , I cant wait till tomorrow to find out how many eggs you got . Make sure you drink loads of water after and peppermint tea will help with the bloatiness .<br>Heres wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow<br>Trace x

Hi.<br>Thanks Kathryn, i do feel very uncomfortable especially when walking i have had alot of feeling sick too.I'm just taking it easy at home watching daytime telly not doing much really!!How lazy is that with Mum living here she is doing all the housework, cooking and ironing.Great stuff!!<br><br>Will let you know what happens tomoz<br><br>Love<br>Sarah Jayne x

Hi Sarah Jayne<br><br>Just want to say that I hope all goes well with EC tomorrow I will be thinking about you. You must have a lot of follies but please note its not saying you will get eggs from every one but the clinic say 30 eggs to you then they must see quite alot of follies.<br><br>I had 12 follies and they got 7 eggs from mine and 5 was suitable for fertilisation, 2 took and now I am pregnant with 1 baby.<br><br>Hope all works out for you, keep us updated.<br><br>Love <br><br>Shell.<br>xx
