Hello Ladies!

I am still trying to keep up with all of you. I just got my calendar from the dr. this week. I am currently still on bc and will have my first u/s on Jan. 12. I will start golal F on or around the 16 (my b-day). Possible egg retreval date is Jan. 27. I am getting nervous for the shots, it's been 3 years since we did this last and my DH is working nights and will have to do the shots myself this time.

I will continue to keep good thoughts for all of us.

Hello Girls.

Angeleyes - I am so pleased that you have 10 follies. You're in with a good chance! I wish you the very best of luck for the EC tommorrow. I hope you take time out to let your body recover.

Jeck - I think the trial ET sounds like a good idea. They don't do that here at our clinic but the idea behind it makes alot of sense! :P

JenC - Perhaps I should try to get DH to follow your DH's example. What a hero! I know you must be feeling really nervous at the moment - I hope thursday comes really quickly for you and I'm certain everything will go really smoothly!

Souris :D - so good to hear from you!! Welcome back to the fold! I am amazed that you are going through all this alone - You are a truly amazing woman!!!! I hope you find some comfort with your mother. Good luck with the tiling!!! i still have loads to go. I'm glad you had a good time in London, it must have been beneficial doing something like that just before your tmt.

Kendra's mom - I understand about you being nervous about doing the injections despite doing it before. I was fine about starting again but when DH handed me the syringe tonight for the first time this cycle, I burst into tears and then again after I injected. I felt very emotional - i think I had built up the tension and it just exploded. I think I'll be fine from now on - just needed to get it out of my system. :? I'm sure you'll be fine - the thought of it is worse than actually doing it.

Anna - I can't believe AF has still not arrived!!!!! I shall do an extar long jig when I wake up in the morning but here's one to keep you going....

Quick update - have persuaded hubby to push in the needle half way tomorrow night so he knows how it feels (I'm so vicious! ). I'll keep you posted on whether he actually does it!!!!!!!

 Sending tons of baby dust to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Looks like those who have started are progressing well, good luck with the ec and et ladies.

Me i am just waiting for next af, but after the biochem they are not too predictable, so should arrive sometime around the end of jan to beginning of Feb and then hopefully my fet will be about 14/16 days later. I cant believe how easy this cycle is compared to the fresh cycle. It seems weird without the many injections(how i miss them , NOT).

How are you doing Lynne my fellow LWH buddy. Hoping all is going well for you.

Welcome to all the new ladies i am sure you will find this site a godsend.

Good luck all, 2006 is going to be a fab year.

love

Hi,

Would you mind taking me off the list, as we have absolutely no idea when/if we're going to find a recipient?

Thanks and good luck to all.

That is so cool Angeleyes! I'm so excited for you! Thanks for the update...Thanks for posting that the 10 were fertilized and 6 made it to embryos. Good to know. Are you in any pain? How long did the procedure last?

I have 20 follicles. The biggest one is now 21, the smallest one is 13 and there is one that is 14.5. Anything over 15 will have an egg, so they say, so by tomorrow I'm sure they ALL should be over 15.

I'm also really nauseous. It began yesterday so I don't know what that is all about.

Hi guys!

Anna, thanks for doing such a great job with the list! And congrats for AF! you must be thrilled to start the tmt on Thursday! wishing you the best!

Sophie, hope you are feeling better! I guess the emotionnal roller coaster is the worst side of IVF... I am sure all will go well, and i think it is a great idea to make DH have some injection too! you really made me laugh! My dh would faint i think!! your Dh sounds great and supportive to do that!

Chirstine, those holidays sounds great! you must be full of PMA, it sounds great! Doing an AF jig for you and hope that they will arrive soon!

Sue, doing another AF jig for you too!! I hope all will be ok with your FET!

Heather, dear, I feel for you. I hope you will find an egg share really soon. Big hug to you and take care. Please keep in touch...

Angeleye, whaou 6 embies! it's great! good luck with ET tomorrow!

Jen, you are doing great! 20 follies! finger crossed for 20 embies! good luck with EC!!

All the other buddies, I hope you are doing great!
I am getting really excited to start the tmt now, but I still have a week to wait!

DH left yesterday so i am feeling really sad. we speak 2 or 3 times a day but i really miss him. I wont see him before mid/end Feb and I really hope that we will be together for the test date!

Have all a nice evening!
love

Hi All,
I would like to join. Just had my baseline US yesturday so am waiting for AF to begin stimming. I've been reading this thread for a while, but this is my first time joining. I think I need a little extra support this time around.
Here's our story: we've conceived three times naturally, but all were lost. We are also both carriers of a genetic disorder, so we're doing ivf, icsi and pgd (preimplantation genetic diagnosis). We thought this would go very easily since I thought I could get pregnant very easily. Not the case, as my hormones and my last ivf cycle put me into the "poor responder" category. Our last cycle was in Dec. Only 8 follicles, 6 eggs and 1 embryo. We decided to freeze the one, start again this month and hopefully increase the number of embryos to test for the disease. This is our last chance, since we're out of $$$. We're desperate to have a baby. Life seems so cruel sometimes. I'm hoping things will go better. I'm doing a different protocol this time -- no BCP, no lupron, just stimming meds (dr. thinks I was too suppressed last time).
I've been reading all of your stories. It'll take me a while to become familiar with all your stories, but I wish everyone the best of luck for 2006!
