Desperate for advice!!

Post by Miracle »

Hello,
I am new to this board. Please help me. I am going to to be 10 weeks pregnant tommorow. After 2 early miscarriages, everything was going fine until now. But suddenly my symptoms are vanishing. I don't feel as tired. I used to sleep during daytime but nothing like that. By god's grace I have no cramping/bleeding. They even saw a heartbeat at week 7 as this is an IUI cycle with donor sperm. We have been through a lot. I went for a blood test on the 29th Dec and pregesterone looks good. I called my RE as I was concerned but she said not to worry. My breasts were very tender until now but they have started to be less tender from last week. Please help me !! Do I need to be worried??

Thanks
It's going to be ok in the end.Even if it's not ok....IT"S NOT THE END!!!

Hi, dont worry I dont think I ever really had much by the way of symptoms. You have more symptoms in the first few weeks as your body has to produce Hcg to keep the baby alive which makes you ill, but at week 12 the baby is making its own so you dont have to anymore, so your lack of symptoms is just the amount of Hcg reducing.
I know its hard but try not to worry. Saying that I still wake up worrying everyday.
Hope all goes OK

I know that it is MUCH easier said than done but please try not to worry

My tierdness went away after 10 weeks - it came back a few days 12-13 weeks and now at nearly 17 I feel much better

Everyone is different as I am sure you know - take it easier and get looked after as much as possible

Take Care

Thank you all ! For whoever took time to answer my concerns. You all know that it means a lot to us. Atleast I did not get responses like - oh ! it's all in your head ! Funny, how people with successful pregnancies can make u feel foolish for being concerned ! Maybe it's my hormones that are working me up.

Yesterday, For some reason I just cried like a baby.....then I promised myself one thing.....I will try not let this situation get over me and do everything in my capacity to make my baby feel that the world is a wonderful place to come in ! It is going to be hard to stick to this though!:)

I wish u all good luck....may u all have healthy babies. Will keep bugging everyone till the 17th jan and afterwards.
It's going to be ok in the end.Even if it's not ok....IT"S NOT THE END!!!

The other girls are quite right, the few symptoms I had ( which weren't many ) disappeared around the same time.

I don't know about you, but I'm a born worrier and I get stressed quite easily. I also promised myself I'd stay calm and positive during my pregnancy but you can't help worrying about one thing or another.

You would not believe how surprised I am today that my 6 and a half month old son, Thomas, is one of the happiest, most laid back babies that I've come across - I was convinced he'd come out a nervous wreak !!

I know it's easier said than done, but try and enjoy your pregnancy as much as you possibly can. Despite the worry I adored being pregnant and I hope you will to.

Wishing you all the very best

Love

Kim

I know exactly how you feel. i have had little or no symptoms at all. Was reassured by other grils early on in pregnancy. Due for scan on Friday, will be 13 weeks pregnant. i guess it's nerves but I am worrying all over again. I have never felt over tired at all while pregnant, never needed to go to loo any more than usual, breasts are bigger but not tender, never been sick but occasionally felt sick cos of food smells. I just don't feel pregnant and I'm worried that i'll get to scan and it will all be over. I'm sure this is normal and scan on Friday will reassure me, please god let this be so anyway!

Miracle and Leigh - try not to get too anxious - remember that when placenta takes over we get less symptoms anyway (between 9-11 weeks I think) and Leigh - I found 2nd tri really stressful because I felt so normal - not pregnant at all. I wish now that I had just enjoyed it because I was very lucky and the only symptoms / signs I've had really have popped up since about week 24!!

Don't worry - you'll both be fine,
