embyro transfer no go im afraid

Hi, we were all set for embyro transfer today at 11.30 but at 9 0'clock got a call from the hospital to say out of the nine that fertilised, 4 were kept out and 5 frozen. Out of the 4 they kept out 3 failed to continue to divide and one was starting to divided but broke into pieces so it was a no go . Feeling totally disillusioned with it all, one day they said it was going to be cancelled because oestrogen levels soo high, the next day they said it would be a freeze all, and when finally we got the go ahead for transfer the little buggers let me down. We need to wait now to see what the embryoligist has to say in a couple of weeks. Love Julie M

Julie, you poor thing. Nothing in this is a fore gone conclusion which makes it all so hard to adapt to. You must feel so disappointed having got this far. Maybe better luck with the frozen five? Keep your chin up. Nicola.

Hi Julie I am sorry to hear your news..this IVF thing is so horrible..but sometimes all of the horrible bits result in the most wonderful picture!! Just keep positive and I wish you all the luck in the world for when you can use a frostie.. love Becky B

hi julie so sorry to hear your news. a month ago we went for blastocyst and they did not make it. it is so hard to come so far and you just feel when is it going to happen...... but one month on we are going to do it all again and i feel really positive. we are changing the tmt a bit but feel i must move on to the next challenge with positive vibes. hope you feel better soon from july ann
