Hi everyone... :D

nicki- we live in hope for you too...sperm can last 3-7 days in your body if the ph level is right..so you never know, 1 from the other night might have hit home already!!!
And for exercise: as gail said go straight from work..it does help. Or as you are about to move house/job/try for a baby/ and diet maybe you are trying to do too much at once!!!! why don't you give yourself time off exercising until you are moved house then you can start going long country walks working up to going jogging or cycling? :)

gail- i know how you feel when someone else gets preg the same time you were...it does break your heart cos you can't help saying that would have been me. :( But your time will come this year so focus on the future not the past.
Sorry if i was hard on you about the 1lb...Joining the gym sounds good, there they can measure all your circumfrences and you can see the changes in inches...Much more rewarding!!!!Spinning is fab for burning off the fat but take a small towel in with you as you sweat buckets too
Swimming is so good...i have a fear of water, i can swim and manage okay but it's not my 1st choice for exercise.( unless i am in the sun abroad somewhere hot...oh! the joy!!! roll on summer!!!)

Lis- you show off doing body pump with 1 hand...hope you enjoyed yourself and got those endorfins( spelling!!!???) flying around?
Good for you going to counselling. It's amazing all the stuff that coomes out (emotions) in a counselling session. Before i went in i always dreaded it but after each session i felt so much lighter inside. It's amazing that from talking to a stranger you can feel so much better. Good news on the tmt... we might be cyling together then in May or June!!!!

a big hi to everyone else....

catch ya all Sunday as i am away from friday to Sunday visiting family. It's my big sisters birthday!...Have a good weekend everyone

Hi Jen,

Just a wee note to say hi, I've been fed now so feeling much better. :D Sounds like you've got a great weekend planned. Hope your going to drink a few large glasses of vino and chill. I did the visiting family thing last weekend so just having a quiet one this weekend and getting in some much needed exercise since I've been using Nicki's work excuses of late!

How's everyone else??

Looks like there is a lot of loving on this thread... Image ...GO GIRLS!!!!

gail- that's a good way to burn of the calories  & wks of gentle exercise will get you into a bikini. Small steps... with your swimming and joining the gym...you'll be toned and honed before you know it. :) Even better in 7wks you will be able to relax in the sun and get a lovely brown tan, which always makes me feel thinner and healthier.

Lis- enjoy your exercising weekend... Image

Hi to Lucy Nicki MLG Lola and Sally...

As for my weekend with my sister...it will be good to catch up, we see each other a lot but i don't usually stay with her. I will be off the wine tho. I was so low after last weekends glass ( i cried buckets the next day with lots of grief about not being preg) that i have decided to stay off it until my mood improves.
Probably cos i am so tense this week...My dad is in hospital for a heart operation. He went through it yesterday and was in intensive care overnight...he is now doing okay and in a normal ward but he has fluid around his heart that they will need to monitor. Visiting him this afternoon. worried but will feel better when i have seen him. :) My DF ha taken time off to come in with me and Mum too...He is such a sweetie.

Anyway willl catch ya all on Sunday night...have a good weekend

love jen

Welcome Julie! I'm glad you decided to join us :D (I've just posted you another message on your introductions thread). The good thing about this thread is that you can post what you want and about any subject!

Gail just keep thinking of that holiday girl! :o Anytime negative thoughts about weight etc. creep in, remember YOU WILL BE A BRONZED GODDESS shortly.

Jen, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. My dh's dad had a severe stroke last year so I know how horrible it is when someone close is ill and going through a lot. The waiting can be awful. I'll keep everything crossed for your dad.
I'm with you on the wine front - since our bad news I cannot handle my drink. I get drunk quickly and feel absolutley awful the next day. I've had to seriously cut my intake.

How's everyone else?

A wee story for you all - my friend went to see a spiritualist last night. Everything he told her about her life was pretty spot on - things that were so personal/unusual that no one could have guessed by chance. Well he told her he could see her with a friend of the same height as her (we're both 5 ft so not exactly average height :) ). He told her this friend was going to have twins and the month of March figured in it. It got me thinking, I might cycle in June this year , if it gets brought forward and if you do the maths, there would be a June baby!! :D To be honest, I don't really believe it, but wouldn't that be freaky if it was true?? My pal can't think of any other friends who are similar height or who might fit the bill. OK tell me I'm mad!! Image

Thanks for your replies and the advice on the book. Got 2 recommends on order and some in reserve if they don't make sense....

Lis, would be fantastic if the clairvoyant was right :) , if nothing else it encourages positive thinking and we all need plenty of positive vibes!!

Hope you all have fab weekend and succeed with your dieting and exercise...If not, have fun and start again Monday :P

Hi everyone

Jen hope your Dad is on the mend, im sure he will feel much better for seeing you, has the fluid around the heart dispersed at all? Hope you had a good weekend (I know you wont be reading this until your back on Sunday) :D

Julie you will be doing you ICSI before you know it, you will soon injecting like an expert :!:

Lis I will try my best to look like a bronzed goddess if I can, I might just have to spend the week lying down so that my IVF drugged up belly looks flatter than it really is, seems like a life time ago that my stomach was virtually flat, it was only 6 months ago and on a bad day I actually look 6 months pregnant (I wish). Your not mad about the spiritualist, you just never know

Well Friday the 13th didnt start very well for me. I was sitting eating my breakfast and heard an almighty crash at the cat flap, I checked to see what was happening and a dog was chasing my 14 year old cat Timmy. The dog is always off the lead when the neighbour takes it for a walk and ive seen it chase cats before, anyway having serious PMT I flew out of the front door in my slippers looking like a mad women and yelled at the man to control his dog (I said a bit more than that!!!!) arrrrrr I dont think he will be walking past the house again  I said to my DH who also happened to be out there, why didnt you say anything and he said that a) he couldnt get a word in and b) I said enough for both of us

Hi Ladies

Feeling tired today. Image
It has been a tiring week - lots of work and too many emotions!

Told my Mom about tmt today. :?
Hadn't told our family before, especially not to worry my mother as she's a very nervous person. But as things are going to take longer than expected at first and we hate to lie to our parents, (and they already had an idea) we thought it was time to come clean.
It was much easier than I had expected. She was just glad that we were doing something about it and that (except for the BFN ) everything had gone well. :)

But now, with all that has happened these past few weeks (like I said - lots of emotions :? :x  :D  ) and all the work I have to do (have brought work home to do!!!!! Image ) I feel drained, tired out! Image

But with PMA rising, and feeling positive for the future!

Gail, how's ur cat today? One of mine is on a diet!!! Weighed her this morning............ 4.7 kg !!!!

MLG, well done for tell ur family about tmt, that should help and next time u will have support, I am sure u fell better, we told our family after trying 2 yrs, and there were great!!! also decided to tell friends and colleagues, too. but since telling them, they mostly avoid us, and/or step around us like we'll crash down in tears, they daren't talk about children in front of us, and ll our friends now have babies!!! so just be careful in case u do tell friends..... x x
