Morning all!
Thanks for the welcomes! Feeling guilty now that even though I've been through every page of this thread I still don't know exactly where everyone is! I'll learn!

Anna - sorry about the cyst drain. I see you're doing a short protocol. I know I've seen this explained before but not sure what this entails? Do you not go through down regg, stims, ec + et?

Jen - Good luck with ec today!

Angeleyes - good luck with et today!

Souris - let us know where you prefer the injections (if we can have a preferred place! Personally I'd prefer not to have to do them at all, but needs must and all that!)

Sophie - Sorry about your cat. We have 2 cats that are 20 + 22 yrs old and I know how devistated we would be.

Hey Lynne - how's it going? Have all your household disasters been fixed now??

Hi to everyone else! I will get to know you all slowly!

Hi to all,

- Lynne Downreg 1st Jan, scan 19th Jan.
- Sue-e - waiting for AF, FET Feb (hopefully)
- Jackie G starting stims 6th Jan
- Eminde - start stims end Jan
- Souris - start stims 15th Jan
- Angeleyes - ET 12th Jan
- Anna - cancelled
- Sophie- start injecting 8th Jan
- JenC- EC Thur 12th Jan, 20 follies!
- Joanna - EC 16th Jan , follies doing well
- Christine - waiting for AF
- mbzz- BFN Big hugs
- Alison - ET 10th Jan
- Jeck - starting lupron 31st Dec ,
- Gina - Begin meds 13th Jan
- Angela - start down reg 3rd Jan, scan 19th Jan
- kendra's mom - on bc, 1st scan 12th Jan
- Kelly - waiting for AF to start stimming
- Cla - first scan 16 Jan for FET

Clare hope the list helps you catch up with all the news. With a short cycle you don't down reg, just start stimming on day 3 for about 10 days. Then it's EC and ET as usual.

Sophie, hope dentist went well, sounds like a major job, yuk! Won't be long before you have a lovely new pussycat to look after. How are the injections today? Hope Af comes soon for you. Do you need a jig

Kendra's mom , how was your scan?
Kelly, when is AF due?
Gina good luck with starting your meds tomorrow.
Jen, how was EC? Hope you are OK and resting up.
Angeleyes, hope ET went well and embies are snuggling in.

As you can see from list my cycle has been cancelled again. My bloods showed that my E2 level was too high. Disappointment is not the word. Had a message on my mobile at 5pm and can't ring clinic as is now closed AAARRGGHH! I suppose I have to wait again for AF. HELP  We have been on the IVF trail for a year now and haven't got to EC stage, any advice?

PMA to all
Bye for now

Hello.

Let's all send ANNA a big hug. Image She has waited 60+ days for AF, it finally arrived only to have the IVF cycle cancelled. Life sucks! Image

Anna - I am so sorry to hear this news. You are having a really rough time of it at the moment aren't you? Do you still have to have the cysts drained tomorrow? Is there anyway they can lower your E2 and then start day 21 of cycle?? I hope you find out more tomorrow.

Jen C - How did the EC go - we want some good news!

speaking of good news...

well done JACKIE - 10 follies is excellent. Good luck for tomorrow.

Cla - wow - your cats are oldies too!! My lovely cat turned 24 this year!!! Are yours tortoiseshells by any chance? I know they tend to live for a long time.

Joanna - I know how you feel. On my last IVF I asked the nurse whether i actually had 30plus chicken eggs in there as opposed to 30plus follies. It's a nightmare!

Well, my visit to dentist went okay. I had to lie uncomfortably with mouth open for 75 minutes but it was painless and better than expected. injections have gone okay today but I always get a fiery red rash afterwards. oh well.

Lots of love (esp. to Anna and those I have not mentioned)

They collected 15 eggs. I will find out tomorrow how many turned into embies. I feel very out of it and very sore. I have been sleeping all day.

Thanks everyone. This is going to be a good year for all of us. I can feel it.

Anna,
I second what Sophies said- Life's just NOT fair at times..
I'm sending you a massive hug- I can only imagine how gutted you must be..
Talk to your docs about putting you on pills which can possible control the rise in your E2 levels..bcp's come in various combinations these days.. just a thought..

What happened to the other 9? Out of my 20 follies, they got 15 eggs, so what happened to the other 5? I don't get it.

Anna - I am so sorry that you had to wait for 62 days for AF and then your cycle is cancelled. Smita and Sophie has some great ideas. I just wanted to send you a big hug and let you know that I am thinking of you. I hope the dr can figure something out for you and DH.

I will keep my fingers crossed and hope it all works out for you.

Morning all!

Anna - just how much more are you going to have to put up with? I'm so so sorry to hear that. Is it not possible for them to still do the cyst drain? That way you'll be raring to go (after all, they said they wanted to do the drain and then go on next cycle till you pushed). At least it would be something. Sending you a huge hug.

Jo - Cauliflowers made me laugh!!!!!!

Sophie - One cat is tortoiseshell (she's HUGE!!!), the other is a tabby who is petrified of everyone and everything!!! even the TV! lol

Jen - 15 eggs is fantastic! Well done! Not all follicles contain eggs, that's whys there is a difference in the numbers. It's why they wait until the follicles are a certain size and number before collection as smaller ones are less likely to contain an egg. Don't worry about the other 5 - 15 is fab!!!

Heather - FANTASIC news! Can't remember if I replied on your other thread but what the heck - that news is worth congratulating twice!!

Hope everyone is well today - looking forward to the weekend!

Hello Ladies!

Heather, so happy to see you back here!

Moggy good luck with this cycle, our hubbies are just the best to put up with us!! Us hormonal girls can somtetimes be nasty!!

Jen, congrats with the 15 eggs! finger crossed for 15 fertilised!

Jo, being bloated is not the best feeling but i am sure it will be all worth it! When is your EC??

Anna, big hugs to you. I am so so sorry and cant imagine how frustrating it is...I hope that when you will get to EC and ET it will be with a huge BFP at the end! Take care dear...

I have to say it, LIFE IS UNFAIR!!!
Someone I know got pregnant few months ago, but then soon after split up with her boyfriend so she decided to abort. She was expecting twins... :( . I guess those things happen, and i am not here to judge.
But then, 3 months after the abortion, she was back with the boyfriend. She is now pregnant again, expecting in Feb...

Why is it so difficult for us ansd so easy for other????

Sorry but i had to say it, feels much better now!

Take care ladies

Welcome Moggy! Nice to see you back!!!

Souris - Stories such as that really make you want to run up the nearest mountain and scream at the top of your voice (except we haven't got any mountains here in the Midlands!!).

Just a short post as I need to finish a few things before the weekend.

Have a good one everyone - won't be back on-line till Monday (Yeah first scan Monday. Not a very exciting one - just looking for a day 10 follie, but it's a start!!!).
