bloated ofter EC is this normal?

Hi Everyone I just couldnt sleep,suppose to be having my ET done today at 11.30. But since my EC on Weds Im still abit sore and sometimes very bloated which sometimes makes me uncomfortable-Is this normal Im so scared that they wont do ET because of OSHH.Ive been drinking loads of water and havent been back to work,but loads of things are going round in my head I cant seem to concentrate on anything nearly had a crash yesterday! Its also difficult to go to the toilet sometimes I need to go but nothing happens,sorry for being crude but this is my first cycle Im just worried. Thankfully havent had any more symtoms of OSHH,I just want everything to go ahead today. God sorry for going on and on... I just need to know if this is normal after a EC? Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. I dont know what I'd do without this site. Thanks again Love Gem xx

Hi gem I was pretty bloated too.To be crude I felt like I had huge amount of wind - but couldnt get rid of it!!Think thats quite normal. Just take it easy and drink water. I think nerves doesnt help and you are I guess a bit nervy about et....dont be you'll be fine and its pretty amazing and totally painless (at least I thought so.) The bloating does go down after a few days - altho et and projesterone, keeps it going for a bit longer - but the slightly windy bloatedness does go away - at least mine has. Altho am def bigger around the middle than usual (I think!!) Good luck - let us know how you get on Cazx

hi gemma, dont worry, Im sure theyll do the et. after my ec I was really ill. Kept passing out, was throwing up for 2 days and couldnt move from the pain I was in! I felt so rough, and i thought theres no way I could even get to the hospital , let alone them doing the et, but I got there and they did it. I was sure I was oshh, but they like to use fresh embies if they can. I swore I wasnt going to do it again but we are having our 2nd go now, with ec friday after next. good luck and I hope all goes well keep us updated, and I hope your embies make themselves comfy! kathryn x just realised that you will hopefully of had it done by now, hope youre resting and being pampered!
