Joanna....16 eggs!!! Cool!!! I had 15. We both had good results with EC. Hopefully that's a good sign.

Gosh, I have to take notes as I am reading the post because as soon and I try to post a reply, I forgot who did what.

I had two progesterone shots so far and so far, not too bad. I'm fairly confident that Dan hit a nerve when I got the HCG shot. Sorry if I scared people.

I'm having a little bit of pain in my left ovary. Nothing I can't handle, I'm just not sure if that's normal or not. I had the most follicles on that side, so I'm assuming my poor left ovary is over worked. Anyone experience this?

Hi all

Just a quickie for Jen,

i think you should not worry about little ovary pain, after all they have been through, a rebellion is fair enough!
I know that I had pain on both side for about 10/12 days. I am fine now!

Angel, keeping fingers crossed
Sophie, hugs to the babies! I havnt seen my cat for a month now and i really miss her...

take care
everyone!

ANNA - Thanks for the af jig, you made me laugh. Mine is not expected till the end of the month, so you may be a little tired keeping it up!!!

LYNNE - I had my treatment at the womens and i didnt have a big HSG needle, i am sure mine was the same size as the others and did not hurt, just had a slight sting for a few minutes. It is amazing how quick you get used to having the 2 injections.

Jen - Wishing you all the best for ET, good luck

Joanna - 16 eggs, well done, good luck for et

Angeleyes - not long now. It is likely that the hot flushes are from your injections, i had them when i was DR.

Anna - Wishing you all the best, not long till your appointment and then onwards and upwards, good luck

Souris - Only 4 more days for you to start, PMA all the way, good luck

Sophie - Hope af arrives soon, and you can move onto the next stage, good luck.

Moggy - af jig on its way to you, wishing you all the best

Sorry got to go, all the best to any that i have missed

Love

Morning!
Lynne - The digital kits come with 5 "pee sticks" so it's just like a normal kit. not sure if you can buy just replacement tests or have to buy the whole thing again, but it's only £5 more than the boots one and SO much easier to read!!!
Jo - 16 eggs - that's fantastic! Well done!
Souris - Sounds like you're keeping busy with the house! I've been a bit lazy in that dept. recently!
Anna - Thanks for updating the list - you're a star at doing that!
Angel - week to go! Yeah!!!!
Jen - I agree with Souris that it's probably just because of everything you've put your body through. If it gets any worse though, discuss it with your clinic.
For those of you waiting for af - here's my jig! Image

will let you know how I get on with my scan later today!

Afternoon!

Jo - 12 embies is fantastic!!!!!

Carly - Welcome! We all know that feeling of the unknown when starting out in this game. All I had heard previous to IVF were horror stories and was dreading it. In reality, it really wasn't that bad at all. I did the nasal spray to down reg (left that horrid taste in my mouth!) and then injections. I'm a baby when it comes to needles, but once you get into it, it really isn't too bad. Everyone is different and you'll have good and bad days, but that's why this site is so fantastic!! people are so supportive.

Me - went for scan and my follie is the right size, but is too "round" (i.e. haven't ovulated) so back tomorrow morning!!! Won't far behind you guys that are doing et tomorrow - good luck!!!!

Jo and JenC

Good luck with your ET!! Both of you had a great number of embies.

I'm sure your transfer will be just as good.

Hi Souris,
We spoke in the introductions section last week. You were very encouraging. Good luck this week with your treatment. :D

Hi Jo,
Well done having 12 embryos. That's fantastic. I only had 5 out of 9 on my last treatment which was not good. You are a lucky girl. Hope it goes well for you

Hi Carly,
Welcome to the site. It has been a great encouragement to me. The needles are not so bad. No more than a little scratch. I try to imagine my baby when I am doing them and then I know how worthwhile it is.

I'm hopefully starting again in 8-10 days (subject to day 2 scan and BT) I wasn't nervous b4 but starting to feel it now as it gets closer.

Carly - I only had my first scan about 2 weeks after sniffing (so about 5-6 days into my period (i.e. after bleeding had finished). You'll find that different clinics use VERY different ptrotocols and some people sniff, some people have more scans than other, some have bloodwork taken, others don't etc. etc. etc. I find it fascinating that treatment can be so varied!

Jackie - good luck with ec!!!!! (i read you were starving on the other thread - I'm not suprised!!!)

sohpie - I forgot to answer your clinic question   not in B'ham - I'm at the CRM in Coventry. As we're currently NHS we had no choice but to go there. I didn't want to at first (the actual hospital is blooming awful!) but the CRM is fairly new and not at all like the rest of the hospital. Most of the staff are great and can't fault them so far!

Have a good evening all!

Cla,

Have they given you a date yet for EC?

You are NOT far behind as your follies are perfect at 23mm.

You and I will be very close too.

Good luck to you.
