Hello Sue
I was just printing off different bits of this board to keep as a bit of a diary type thing and re tracing my steps just came across your posts which are very up to date... how are things? where are you up to? In case you don't remember you where starting at Liverpool and I had been not long before you.

We have one daughter Jess age eleven. After years and many things happening my husband & I paid and went for ICSI embryo trans 19/08/04. I had a baby daughter 26th April 2005 we have called her Kirsten so now we are blessed with two children.
How are things with you? thanks for the message, nice to speak to you again. We finally got to start treatment the end of July, then had earrly m/c at the beginning of October. we have 3 frosties hoping to have an unmedicated FET the middle of next month.
What month did you have treatment? Sorry but my memory is so bad. Are you planning on any more? I am surprised by how different the protocols are for different cycles. Most clinics seem to do far more scans and tests than the womens, it seems weird. there are a number of women on here who are at the womens at the minute.
We are remaining positive though and believing 2006 is going to be our year!!!
Take care
speak soon

Nice to be in touch so next month is your month and you have 3 frozen, I only ever had 3, two of which worked and they put back, one failed the other is Kirsten. Nothing frozen, we paid because I am sooo old and time had run out.
I don't know how you are about this and looking at the boards I am very grateful for what I have but at the same time it seems very bad to go on about how thrilled I am.
But you asked so... Kirsty is great she is doing really well just had her 6/9month review shes smiling waving blowing raspberries clapping handies. There are some pictures on the photobucket site if you want to see?
I don't know how the frozen bit works do you have to do much before to give yourself the best chance? Have you a date yet? Will you do anything differently?
I had thought maybe we would go again but it would be greedy and besides which my husband said I would have to find someone else to do it with because apparantly I was quite tricky to live with when I was injecting sniffing etc!!!!!
Stay in touch I really hope everything goes well for you I think you stand a very good chance at the womens, I called back when I went to register the birth and it was very strange RMU etc, they were lovely I even saw the chap that ran through from the back room with the pipette all very emotional.Cate xxx

Dont worry about being thrilled about treatment working for you, because when i get my baby i am going to shout it from the roof tops!!!!! I must admit that some days it is tough when you see it working for everyone else and not you, but thats normally when im being negative, which does me no good anyway.
No wonder your chuffed she sounds absolutely adorable. I really hope i get to experience that. For the FET i just have to phone on day 1 to see if its ok to cycle that month, then do ovulation tests and when positive go in 2 or 3 days later. I have asked to have progesterone throughout though. No, i havent got a date yet, expecting af end Jan/beginning feb so hopefully et middle of Feb.
I dont think doing it again would be greedy, after all if you could do it naturally you could have as many as you want. Persuading your hubby may be a bit more difficult though!!! For me i was less moody throughout the whole thing than with normal PMT, so i think hubby was very relieved.
take care.
