Today was a much better day, thank God. I felt like an almost normal person for a change! Guess things had to get better – hope it lasts!

All went well at clinic – I’m giving it another go in March!!!!!
As soon as AF arrives (hopefully in a week or so) I’ll be on the pill. Stop on the 23rd February and day after next AF arrives will be starting tmt with down-regging!
Now I have dates to look forward to.
Got to hurry up with the exercise and diet to be at fit as possible till then!

Lis-hope u r feeling better 2-day? Maybe it’s worth letting your friend know how u feel. My best friend fell pg when I had my first ivf that resulted in ectopic and at first she didn’t want to tell me she was pg. The other weekend her and hubby came to visit (they live about 2 hours up the road) and she phoned me before to ask if it was ok to bring the baby since our 2nd attempt failed as well.

NickiMark-well...you find those ppl everywhere. Most don’t even mean it but just don’t now it any better. There r still so many ppl out there who have never heard of ivf fertility problems or what it means to couples. Hope it didn’t get u down. Take care and make sure u find some time for yourself and hubby.

MLG-so glad u r feeling better 2day. Another tmt in March? That’s brilliant news. Now u take it easy girl and enjoy a couple of drinks while u still can right?.

Jeni Babes-that’s brilliant news about your Dad! Hope he is doing fine. You take good care of him and yourself. If you could add the 23rd to the list for my pre-admission aptmt. that would be nice, thx.

Just in case I don’t get the chance to write again before hols:

Jan-Lola-good luck with your HSG. Have u had one before or is this your first one? I had one done before our first ivf, I was scared to bits…turned out it wasn’t all that bad. Not much pain, almost no bleeding afterwards. Good luck.

Jan-Jen-good luck with your meeting. Hope its all good news.

I had my oral-glucose-intolerance-test (what a word *g*) today. 3 times in 3 hours they had to take blood, now i´ve got none left . Will get results week after next, also results for thyroid and hormone-levels.

Right girls…I am off to the hairdressers now. Getting pampered for a bit *g*, got to look nice to go visit the outlaws, right?

Nicki what a bummer that your moving date has been put back from Jan to Feb!!! I hate it when that happens...it's enough of a stress moving as it is...have you got many things packed? have a good weekend!

sally - I am sorry I didn't have time to add your dates as i was so busy with DAD. You poor soul with all that blood in such a short space of time...hope all the results come back with an A-okay.i will add your 23rd Jan pre admission appontment...oh! that means we will not get yuor review news on the same date!We will need to wait!!! Have a good weekend...i could do with a bit of pampering myself...enjoy corwall and time with hubby...Hope you need these

MLG- how are you doing today? It takes so long this getting over a BFN, i thought i would be okay sooner...but i have been so low for most of this month. As you say i too am feeling better today!!!...I am beginning to get mentally ready for looking at trying again and facing this consultation next friday...Good news about starting in March...


Lisa-Hope you are doing better...we are here if you need to talk more honey... I know just how you feel, it's a sort of longing inside, like a bit of a jigsaw puzzle that make s up all of me., is missing. sometimes i think May is ages away...but this week seems to have flown.keep your chin up.

Lucy- take more time off work if you need it....if you have worked there for 3 yrs or more you are entitled to minimum 6 months leave. Hope you are doing better today! I think this cycle in Feb is what is keep ing you going x x

julie- Cbb is so mad this week I taped last nights and watched the madness unfold...I actually felt sorry for traci, especially the way Pete laid into her?...i wouldn't like to be in the house with him, though i do think (most of the time) he's great to watch. I am glad Rula got out as i think she is better away from back stabbing George! Prest-stud to win!!!
Hope you are enjoying your double voddies and what??? coke?...i like tonic and lime in mine! But will be having a glass of wine tomorrow as friends are staying saturday night. they are bringing their little boy of 15mths...ah so cute!

Rachel Gail, and Lola- how are you Sweeties? I hope i haven't forgotten anyone!

Thanks everyone for all your support over the last 2 weeks. Dad is doing well, he is home now and is coping okay, but still resting a lot. My mum is shattered and so am i. i have a busy weekend ( friends staying) but have monday off...Will have a lazy one...then try to catch up with everything.

Hi Girls

How are you all? Hope had good weekend...Had good nite Friday on girlie night out. Really didn't want to go as been at low ebb and had to find the energy just to get ready but glad I did. Just what I needed. . Jen - my tipple is vodka n coke winter and vodka lime n lemonade in summer (but not this summer!!).

As for CBB I missed eviction Friday but Pete is a pig for the way he treated Traci (and just for the hell of it ) Apparently double eviction Wednesday and Chantelle and Dennis are two of them that are up but not sure who else. Still think Michael needs locking up . Pres-stud will win it, i hope!

Lis/Lub/MLG - Hope you have enjoyed your weekend and are feeling chirpirer?

MLG - Great news about treatment date, at least you can work towards that now. Keep up the exercise .

Sally - Have a fab hol....enjoy the break. Hope you get plenty of sunshine

Hi, me again!

Just a quick bit of advice. When do you get told about diet, lifestyle changes and supplements recommended through treatment? Is it something the clinic would tell me

Have started healthy eating, not smoking and cutting down caffeine (arrrggghhhh!!!!!) and I am reading Zitas book. Have spent a small fortune on vit and mins and now I am reading one of the labels it is not intended for pregnant or planning to become pregnant women Confused.....

Also, forward thinking, I know you have to up protein to 60g a day when stimming but would I be told this by the clinic ? Conflicting advice makes this very confusing!!

Just want to get things as right as I can and not miss something vital without information overload. Trying to get up to date and on top of things and my head is wrecking with it all.

Miy clinic has never said to me about life style changes, de stressing, better diet, everything I know I have leant from internet, and from the girls here, also by readingh books galore.... Zita West is excellent!!!

I have had 3 iui's and looking back I wonder if clinics dont say these things so that u fail, and then spend more money!!! thats probably not true but u cant hlep but think that can ya??

I am totally stressed, and have been since 2001.... JHad lots of trauma since then personally, mainly my dad passing away after having cancer, my job and lfe style, and even dh's job and life style.......The list of reason's why I am stressed goes on, but dont want to bore ya with my whingges!!!
Anyway, thats why dh and I have decided to de-stress and focus on our selves before starting any treatment......
I am eating healthy, keeping a diary of it too, so I can look back and make ajustments too!!! I am changing my job and we are moving so that we are closer to home, we are paying off debts and getting really back on track.....

Then once we have moved, I am going to start reflexogoly, accupunture, massages, I am also going to start walking every w/end and swimming more, and then after I am totally chilled out and totally laid back we will try again......So in March we have appointment with Dr, we will certain ask him what he thinks, but i think I have decided already.... Bet he says try iui again this cycle........ But I am waiting coz I want it to work..... If i go jumping in now, it would fail.... Thats why i have to b in tip top condition..........

In my mind, I have July to try again.........But hey lets see how I feel first.....

I am happier, than ever right now, because I am focused. I am still recoving the stressed of the last 4 yrs, but I can see lght at the end of the tunnel......

Hi everyone

Hope everyone is OK and had a good weekend.

Well I went back to work today, it was OK, I was quite nervous and felt like the new girl cos I've been off so long. It was quite hard with people asking me all sorts of questions to why I was off.

It was also quite hard as one of my colleauges is pregnant and one has just had a baby, so it was baby talk most of day, I cant blame them becuase if my pregnancy had of lasted then I would be shouting it from the roof tops and probably doing everyones heads in going on about it all the time, so I can't blame them but did hurt...!

I had a meeting with my manager today and she told me I just need to get on with my life now, I couldn't believe what I was hearing, she maybe didn't mean anything bad by that but it still hurt, she also said its ok you have loads of time for a baby, your so young, I could of just walk out, maybe I should of told her I didn't have all the time in the world, probably not that long at all, but I couldn't bring myself to say anything, I think I was in shock, still from the first comment.

I asked if I could cut my hours to 32.5 rather than 37.5, but she didn't seem too pleased about it, but said she would speak with appropriate people and get abck to me.!

Anyway change of subject: CBB, Julie, George is the other person up for eviction, I hope Dennis and George go, I also want preston to win, or chantelle, I think if she doesn't go on Wed, she will be in final...!
