I'm glad that it worked out for you.

I tried to go for a medical leave, had the doctor's note to support it, but it was denied. They said that it (the procedure) wasn't "medically necessary". Whatever. I was approved an unpaid personal leave. I have been off since December 27th and I go back to work on January 29th. If it fails and I have to do IVF again, I am quitting. I don't think that I would ever be approved for another personal leave...I'm glad that I was off though because I have a very stressful job and the IVF was stressful enough.
Our dream came true! We are due October 5th!

oagh that is so aggressive! I'd love to put those stupid selfish men in our positions and see how they feel.
Its so greedy to treat your employees like machines without lives and problems.
