Hi everyone!

My husband and I have been ttc for the past 15 months.

we start our first IVF treatment this month, which is very exciting, but i am also nervous as I don't really know what to expect.

It has been great to read other people's stories on this website, and to know that I am not the only one going through this very emotional experience of infertility!

Especially when all of my friends are having babies with no trouble! It is very frustrating.

Hopefully we will be one of those lucky people very soon.

I wish everyone who reads this all the very best of luck and that all of your dreams come true very soon. :)

Hi Fiona and welcome to this fab site.
It is very nerve wracking starting tmt. So much to learn! I hope all goes well for you.
You may like to join the general forum where there are lots of lovely ladies who can support and guide you through the process.
One thing I have learnt is to keep asking questions. The drs know so much but sometimes aren't as good at explaining things. I have learnt soooo much from this site, it is a godsend! Any question you have, just ask, there is usually someone here who can help.

The ladies here also recommend books by Zita West, especially one called 'fertility and conception'. It is really easy to read and explains IVF etc really well. (We are not on commission!)

AMck - thank you for your recommendation of the Zita West book, I will have a look for it!
