I was JUST talking to Angeleyes about this....the other day I thought that I smelled funny. Even though Dan promised that I didn't. It happened again where I thought I smelled bad. My mom said it was probably the estrogen. Then today, I noticed that I have a funny taste in my mouth and Angeleyes pm'd me asking if I had that. I hope that's a good sign. I'm also a little bloated and feeling funny down there. I hope it's not my mind playing tricks on me.

I dont know about the smelling funny thing BUT I do know about the funny taste in your mouth!!!

Very good sign!! My sister said that when she was pregnant she would get a metalic taste in her mouth. Is this kinda what your going thru??

Yep, Im very bloated, having some shooting pains and feels like AF cramps. I read on another thread that AF COULD be a good sign. Who knows. I'm going 1 day at a time and leaving it in GOD's hands :D

Good luck,

Jackie

Well, I don't eat metal, (too many carbs  ) so I'm not quite sure what is meant by a "metallic taste" in your mouth. It's definitely weird. I also read that signs of AF are also very good.

Praying for all of us!

How many people scanning tomorrow!!
Good luck to all of you - make sure you let us know how you all got on!!!
Angela - sorry to hear about the insensitivity of the in-laws. We told the entire world last time as we just got caught up in it, but this time have told only a handful. If we were all doing this naturally they wouldn't be going around saying to others "you know .... and .... are making babies at the moment. She ovulated yesterday so they went home, he stuck his p*** up her v**** and came inside her - the sperm and the egg met in the fallopian tube and fertilised" etc. etc. etc. sorry that was a bit blunt but that's my point. They wouldn't discuss that so why on earth do some people think that just because it's assisted, that we're public property. Whoops.......... didn't mean to go quite that far!!!!
Jo, Jen, Jackie - Hope the 2ww is ok for you. I haven't really thought about it too much, but it's only been a few days!!!
sophie - great to see the scan went well. One side always seems to do better than the other - it's quite natural!!
Anna - Good luck today!

Hi to all - hows it going?!

Cla,
Only just caught up with your news that you're on the 2ww..
Here's sending you loads of positivity and baby dust for that positive on feb 3rd.
Why dont you start a 2ww thread? It was done earlier..made it easier to catch up with who was on the nail-biting, twinge analysing time period..

Good Luck!

JenC,
Lots of luck to you as well..

Hi every one, i dont really know anyone on here but just wanted to chat and let you all know that AF arrived today YEH! YEH! right on time, but i did the AF jig and it really worked, so ayone waiting just get up and shake your pelvis and dance, im not dancing now, can hardly move actually, been sick twice, in pain and feeling very dizzie (no change there then) so having first scan on fri, then hopefully start stims.

Im very excited and also cacking my self at the same time, we have waited so long just to get to this point it doesnt feel real and even if it does not work we would have got closer than i ever thought we would and for that i will be thankful.

Good luck to all those waiting for test, results and AF and a sprinkling of baby dust to all

Hello to all you lovely ladies!

I can't believe how many of us are having a scan tomorrow. It is my little girl's 5th birthday tomorrow so that has to give us all some good luck!!!

There was a thread about 3 weeks ago about scans - whether or not you wear your socks!!!!! I leave them on as my feet get rather cold - how about you ladies - barefoot with nailvarnish or socks????

Jen C - I am so excited that you are excited!!!!!!!!!!!! Regarding the smell thing, when I was 5 weeks pregnant I couldn't stand the smell of DH. It was a sweaty smell, just something wierd and gross. That was the thing that made my neighbour suggest I was Pregnant because she had it too in her early pregnancy. So you never know.........

Cla - I think you confused me with someone else in your last message - my scan is tomorrow. Hope your doing OK.

WELCOME to all the new people!!!! Good luck!!

Souris - I hope you are having a great time with your mum!!!!!!! I assume she knows about the treatment????

Lynne - I haven't told ANYONE about my tmt, purely because I am so scared of people reacting the way your mum and friend have. How awful for you!!! People just don't understand what it's like. I think they believe that we go to the hospital, have an embryo put in and then we are pregnant straight away with no emotional or physical impact at all.

I have bought a new watch with 5 alarms on it to remind me of when to take tmt. Soon I will be having 1 injection, 3 tablets and 2 pessaries per day, all at different specific times in the day so I figured a multi-alarm watch is the only way to keep on top of it. The normal IVF cycle was more straightforward than this frozen one!

My close friend who I see on a day to day basis is having frozen ICF at the moment too. She had her ET yesterday and last night she showed me the picture of the 2 embryos. The picture was as clear as day, taken just before they transferred them. I could see each little cell - it was amazing. I had no idea they could do this. I sort of hope that my clinic doesn't do this as I think I would attach too much emotion to the picture then if it didn't work out........

Anyway, speak to you soon

IVF '05 - OHSS 13 embies frozen
FET, Feb06 - negative
