Post by Bharti »

Hi my name is Bharti, I'm 36 and have been having ivf for 18months. The first cycle was abondened due to ovarian hyperstimulation, the 2nd time I had to have a freeze all, this resulted in 6 frozen ebryo's. The first frozen implant failed, the 2nd on 24/9/05 was successfull but unfortunatley I had a MC on 25/11/05. Difficult times hoping to try again in a couple of months, this next time we will have 2 put back. Very worried about the whole thing. :)

Welcome to the site..
you will find tremendous support here.I did and do!
I'm sorry to hear about your recent mc- cannot imagine how painful emotionally that is.. But I just wanted to welcome you and wish you lots of luck..
Perhaps you could join the Feb/March buddies on the genral forum if you plan to cycle in march..

Take care,

Bharti,

Sorry to see you have had such a rough time of it. I know you are probably still raw about your MC but try to stay positive for the next time.
I have had 1 natural miscarriage at 14 weeks gestattion when I was 27 and I have had another 2 since starting IVF last year but I refuse to give up. I am about to embark on another attempt of ICSI at MFS in Manchester and I really believe it will work this time.

It will work for you. Try to have PMA as much as possible. Why don't you try acupuncture, this can help you both relax and has been known to have a positive effect on women who miscarry normally. I am having it at the moment and it is really good. She also checked my preg mutivitamins and put me on extra Vit C and Zinc to help the embryo attach.
